Chapter 3
The Rain of a Dream

The boy held in his hand a bow that had been stuck into the ground by some sort of rock. He grabed it and he looked at the beasts hurrying in on him. He needed something to shoot. All he could find was a lone arrow on the ground next to the rock he had pulled the bow from. He thought quickly that if he was going to go out, he'd go out with a fight. These guys arnt taking me today! He screamed in his mind as he pulled back the arrow from the bow and the arrow flung straight through the beasts head as his body set to a blaze and became nothingness in the wind. Leon gasped at the strength of the arrow as he droped the boy in fear. This is it... he thought but a glint of light shone at the sting of the bow. He reached for it as the bow broke and the light engulfed him. The light spilling on the beasts like embers of a great flame. On the inside of this light shone flying bright colors like a swirling tunnel.
He quickly got up and looked where the beastes were. The mist disapeared, just as the beasts. He looked around for and glint of life. But he found nothing. There wasn't even a sky of ground!
Leon quickly looked around and followed the light up its spiraling stream until he found a small shrine, the only symbol that he wasn't the only solid thing in this light. As he reached twords it from the staircase of swirling colors a shadow fell from the sky and grabed it. The shadow was cloaked in a darkness. The only darkness around. As Leon ran fast up the slope the shadow turned to him. Its face hidden. As Leon made it close to the top he froze.
The shadow was standing on the top of the slope where the shrine was, its darkness making a hole in reality. As Leon stood in fear the shadows spurted 2 black wings. The size of two of himself Standing on each others shoulders. As the shadow began to fly Leon regained movement. He ran to him screaming. "Come back!!" and when the shadow flew almost to the point of disapearing a glint of darkness apeared below Leon and it covered the ground and small arms flew out of it and dragged Leon under it. As He struggled a Girl with blue hair and yellow eyes watched without emotion. She was wearing a white dress and she had two large angel wings. Right before Leons sight was robbed he saw the girl laughing.
"WAAAAGH!!!" Leon shouted as he shot out of bed.
