Sonic Riders (a story and game) Part 75 Shadow Helps
(On the deck right now.)
Rouge (flying toward the Emerald) : I'll try getting it this time.
*The dark aura surrounds the Emerald again*
Cosmo: Don't touch it!
Rouge (grabbing it) : Huh?
*The Emerald pushes Rouge away with a bright light*
Rouge (getting pushed back) : Aah!!!!
Sonic: What is going on?!
Amy (holding her hammer) : Maybe if I hit it,it'll listen.
Jenny (with a sweatdrop ) : That only works on creatures,Amy.
*Sonic puts on a sweatdrop *
Inside the ship.........
Cream (working out the problem) : Um,let's see-Tails and Rouge were pushed away by a bright light from the Emerald. Um,um...This is too hard!
*Chhese tries to calm down Cream*
Shadow (talking to her with his back turned to her): Hey.
Cream: Hm?
Shadow (turning his head toward her) : I could help out.
Cream: But you are a bad guy!
Shadow (turning his head back) : You don't have any other option.
Eggman (nodding his head) : Yes,yes.
Cream: Well,if it's the only option left.
*Cheese makes some doubting sounds*
Cream (getting out of the room) : I have to get Jenny first-she's the only one who can open it. Cheese,you stay on guard.
*Cheese watches over them as she leaves*
Back outside..........
Cream (coming outside) : Jenny,could you come back inside for a while?
Jenny (walking to Cream) : Uh,sure.
*They walk inside*
Knuckles (still unnoticed and holding his tail and stomach,thinking) : What was that all about?
Cosmo: Don't touch the Emerald anymore!
Sonic: We already know that.
Inside the ship (Again) .........
Jenny: You really sure about this?
Cream: We don't have any other options.
Jenny: I better use Future Sight,just in case-Future Sight!
*Jenny looks into the future,but goes back in a short time*
Jenny: It's blocked with thick,grey fog-this has never happened before.
Eggman (getting impatient) : Will you please open the door?
Jenny: It's been open the whole time-I've been using a feeling illusion.
Eggman (trying to feel the wall) : What?!
Jenny: I guess you really do have an IQ lower than 10.
Eggman: Hey!
Jenny (using Confuse Ray on Eggman) : Confuse Ray!
Eggman: Oh,my head...
Shadow (thinking,standing up) : I guess he deserved it...
*Shadow glances at Jenny and Cream,then races off to the deck*
Jenny: I better put another feeling illusion on Eggman just in case he does anything funny.
*Jenny's eyes shine a quick,bright light*
Jenny: There. Keep running the ship.
*Jenny trots to the deck*
Cream (sighing) : Being really afraid isn't very good...
*Cheese makes some "cheering up" sounds*
To the deck (Again) ................
*Shadow appears very suddenly*
Sonic: Shadow!
Amy: What are you doing out here?!
Jenny (coming out onto the deck) : It's all right-I let him outside.
Shadow: You should be grateful that I'm helping you out.
*He looks at the Emerald for a minute,and then looks at Knuckles*
*Knuckles looks back a look of anger at Shadow*
*Shaodw looks back at the Emerald and walks toward it*
Rouge (finally noticing Knuckles) : Oh!
*Rouge flies toward Knuckles*
Tails: Wait,you'll get pushed back if you touch the Emerald!
Shadow (walking pass him) : You don't know me very well.
*He puts his hand close to the Emerald and some static appears between his hand and the Emerald*
(It looks as if he's yanking out something from the Emerald.)
Rouge: Knuckies,you okay?
Knuckles (grasping his tail and stomach even tighter) : Pretty much,yeah. What about you?
Rouge: Just a little bruise-no biggy.
Knuckles (thinking) : That's what I said before...
*Rouge giggles*
*Knuckles feels a bit more pain*
Amy: By my calculations,he isn't like Sonic-he's dark,mean,maybe even selfish.
Shadow (trying to concentrate) : Be quiet.
Cosmo (holding Tails) : You,okay,Tails?
Tails: Yeah,thanks for asking.
*Shadow feels pain in his arm and pulls his arm away from the Emerald*
Shadow: This isn't an Emerald...It's part of the dark eco crystal!
What?! It's not an Emerald,but part of the dark eco crystal?! (I'll remind you about it in the next entry.) Shadow is not known very well by Sonic and his friends? But they kept bumping into each other in the early entries/parts! 3 more entries to go! What will be the fates of Sonic and his friends?!
