Week Twenty-One: Late Registration Yes, yes, I was supposed to update Friday - but I didn't because I was on my Thanksgiving-break and I was beat from releasing Quest System crying Now I'm back in action and I'm looking forward to the next couple of months of maintenance and bug fixing. Riding in the Short Bus Not so much to report this past week because I was only there for 2 days! (I was somewhat sick on Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday were days off for Thanksgiving). Quest Side We re-released the Quest System on Tuesday, the 21st. The re-release was almost entirely bug-free (thanks QA team!) so now we can start to build off of it going forward. Now the complainers need something else to complain about... I wanted to make another point regarding Monthly Collectibles in the Quest System, which is the new object of users' ire. Right now, it's pretty far off our radars - we haven't started on Phase Two yet, so while users are all abuzz about it, we're not discussing it too much. I'm still paying attention to user threads about MC's in the Quest System, and myself and a few others are boiling up some ideas that should please newbies and oldbies alike -- though it will be a while before we have a round table discussion about the subject. By the by, I updated the Quest System FAQ last Monday -- so if you have any questions... read that first! Pimp My MoMo I loved the new weekly comic again this past week. It included: The parody of a great new gaming system Ron Bruise! Crazy casino hags (I wonder who does their makeup) I know there are some users who don't care much for the new comics, and maybe it's my weird sense of humor, but they've really been hitting the spot for me lately. Weakest Links I've gotten so many chain letters in the past week from users I randomly added to my friendlist. From now on I'm instantly removing anybody who sends me a chain letter (and using the new "Report This PM" button). Hasn't anybody learned anything from Chainey, the Chain-Letter Mascot of Stunted Mental Development? Holiday Contest! I think at the end of this week I'm going to hold a contest to allow users to win some big cashiola. I'll be paying out of my own gold, but it should provide a little fun. Keep an eye out and tell your friends (or don't, since they might be competing against you!). I'm setting the prize at a tentative 50,000 gold eek

	I've actually liked the comics as well. The quest system went off rather smoothly, i'm sure everyone will come to love the feature :3

	Riding in the Short Bus-Awww sorry to hear you were sick fleep! Hope your feelin better now! <3 I also hope your thanksgiving went well and you made sure to get super fullified (is that even a word?)! Quest Side-I liked the newbie quest, it reminded me of when I first started Gaia and was new and confused about everything I think it'll be a big help to new gaians! I don't have questions or complaints about the whole M.C. items being given, sure I'd love to get some of the old school M.C.'s but I won't go arguing online about it, and if they decide not to include them so be it. Optay Ecretsay Alienway Odecay-I'm clueless as to the next one myself. I've been trying all kinds of weird passwords that it could be but none work.. crying I'll let you know if I figure out one that does. Also, Igpay Atinlay Ocksray! Pimp My MoMo-I love the new comics! They give me something new to look forward to every week! 3nodding Gotta love the parody and pimpin MoMo (Poor monkey the casino hags just like whats in his wallet and not in his heart/personality/looks/ect D: ) Weakest Links-Ugh I know chain letters are such an annoyance. I report any I get myself. I still accept friend requests from anyone though I don't see any reason why should I get picky about who I can friendlists just because of a few chainletter senders. Holiday Contest-Yay fleep is generous! You can count me in, and hell I'll even give you some gold if you want to add to the prize (Dunno why but winter makes me wanna donate gold to random people questing items, especially ones that inflate really fast, probably because I know what its like, only reason I got my coco at 19k was because my friend was generous enough to lend me my last 9k, funny thing is the day after I bought mine the lowest buy marketplace price went up to 35k so I got lucky.) But now I'm rambling about myself so I'll just end things! sweatdrop

	contest? i'll have to pay attention and see what it is. hopefully it's something i'm good at and not something like an art contest. xd i can't wait for more Quests to come out. i'm guessing back wings are phase 2 along with the Donation Items, but i can wait. i'll probably forget about it temporarily. poor Fleep got sick. did eating mass amounts of turkey fix that?

	Tell whoever does the Weekly Updates to include Chainey more often. He needs to get out more and get his excerise. Most people think something is going to happen with the Zurg link on this Wednesday, so keep an eye on the thread made by Sirail, as she's putting forth a huge effort in her thread regarding the matter. 	I agree the "Duties" comic still rules them all! mrgreen I'm still trying to figure out the "hidden but not hidden any more" zurg page. Everyone's speculating Wens. as D-Day, so I guess I'll wait along with the others to find out more. I've recently received chain mail also, & in my profile page. I always send back a link connecting to the "Dee Dee Dee" song by Carlos Mencia. I hope your contest isn't an art contest or you'll be getting stick figures from me!! Glad your feeling better. 	Chock full of juicy information as usual Fleepers. Hmm a contest you say? Well if it involves art of any sort I shall put my girlfriend on that matter as I have no artistic ability at all. I love the comics as well, I am pretty sure it is because of my odd mindset but who cares I love my oddness and the comics oddness. Have you seen the Tenacious D movie yet Fleep? If not I order you to see it, it is one of the funniest movies ever.

	Contest, eh? I really could use another way to impress Fleep and earn more of his highly addictive cookies. Alright, Fleep. You're on! It's a race around the world - we shall use modern means of transport. To show I'm a good sport, I'll even give you a 5 minute head start. Now where did tether my balloon? Oh bollocks! It's been stolen! Now, to the point: The Quest System! Got a chance to test it out, and might I say, Zang! (If you have no idea what that's from, I am deeply disappointed in you.) I found it relatively easy to use, except when I forgot what it was I was supposed to be doing - or rather, until I figured I could tell what to do by what screen it brought me to and didn't bother to read the instructions before clicking stuff. In the end though, it all functioned flawlessly. [It's gotta be said, perfect on only the second try? That's gotta be a new record for the Devs. Thumbs up to you!] Now then, I have a few questions for you: Have you decided what the contest will be yet? What will the time constraints most likely be? Are wookies allowed to enter? Remember, if you begin to feel sick again, you should run to the store immediately (or better yet, have an intern do it for you.) and get some medication.
