Sonic Riders (a story and game) Part 77 The Real Emerald
Tails (looking through a large microscope at the dark eco crystal) : Looks like this thing is giving off powerful magnetic waves.
Eggman (finally awake) : Shadow,did something happen?
Shadow: Yes,doctor. *He starts whispering at this part* I cooperated so I could think more properly of how to escape.
Eggman (also whispering) : Ah,I see.
Jenny: Shadow,Eggman-are you two discussing something?
Eggman (a little panicy) : Of course,not!
Shadow (completely calm) : Of course,not-why would we?
Jenny: I thought I heard you,guys,discuss about an escape.
Eggman (even more panicy) : Of course,not!
Jenny (walking toward Sonic) : You better behave.
Eggman (calming down a little) : Of course... *He whispers at this part* ...NOT!
Eggman (whispering to Shadow) : So what's the plan?
*Shadow whispers into Eggman's ear*
Jenny: Sonic,do you have a distant communicator thingy?
Sonic: Uh,yeah.
Jenny: Let me use it,please.
Sonic (giving Jenny his communicator) : Uh,sure.
*Jenny turns it on*
The Communicator: Name place to communicate with.
Jenny: Moonwolf Cave.
The Communicator: Place contacted with. Please communicate with whomever you want to speak with.
The Moonwolf Leader (communicating through a small radio that has been donated to them) : Hello?
Jenny: Leader?
The Leader: Oh,Jenny! Long time,no talk! How have you been?
Jenny: Just fine,how is the pack?
The Leader: In tip-top shape! The others and I were wondering what you were doing these past weeks.
Jenny: Sorry,helping this team takes a lot of work.
The Leader: That's fit for a young moonwolf like you!
The pack: Is that Jenny? Please let me talk to her!
The Leader: Agh!!
Jenny: Um,Leader...?
The pack: We miss you,Jenny! Come home as soon as you can! Leader wishes that,too! Bye!
*The communicator turns off*
Jenny (smiling,giving Sonic back his communicator) : Here.
Sonic: Homesick?
Jenny: A little.
Chris (observing with Tails) : This is nothing I've seen before!
Cream (giggling) : Of course!
*Chese starts to giggle*
Chris: What's so funny?
Cream: Oh,nothing.
*Cheese starts to stop giggling*
Amy: Figure out its purpose yet,Tails?
Tails (still looking through the lare microscope) : No.
*Vector keeps walking back and forth*
Charmy: Vector,what're you doing?
*Vector ignores Charmy*
Espio: I'm thinking he's in his own little world.
Charmy: Me too-filled with tons and tons of "mysteries" .
*Charmy laughs*
To the resting room.........
*Knuckles sighs*
Rouge (treating Knuckles) : Knuckles,I have a question.
Knuckles (looking outside the window) : What?
Rouge (treating Knuckles) : Why is it that you get yourself into rash things and get injured?
Knuckles: I guess it's like an instinct taking possession over its limit.
Rouge (done with the treating) : I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
Knuckles (thinking,looking down at the ground) : I'm not exactly sure also...
Rouge (pointing out of the window) : Knuckies,look!
Knuckles: Huh?
*They see a Chaos Emerald*
Rouge: The last Chaos Emerald!
Knuckles (getting up) : I'll go get-ugh!
*He sits back down on the bed*
Rouge: No time for that! Plus you're injured! I'll go myself!
*Rouge tackles through the window*
*Painfully and doubtfully,Knuckles watches Rouge go get the Emerald*
To Rouge..........
Rouge (reaching for the Emerald) : A little bit more...
*The Emerald seems to have gotten farther*
Rouge: What?
*The Emerald shocks Rouge*
Rouge: Aah!!!
A few moments later.........
Rouge (waking up) : Ugh... What happened?
*She looks around the resting room*
Rouge: Oh yeah,I was shocked by the Emerald...but how?
*She sees that the window had been repaired*
Rouge (thinking) : But how did I get back here?
*She looks to the left of her and sees Knuckles in his bed with scratches all over his body*
Rouge (alarmed) : Knuckies!
*She runs to see what happened to him*
*Knuckles starts to wake up*
Rouge: I'm guessing you rescued me,correct?
Knuckles (very still) : Yeah...
*Black light streams out of Knuckles's body*
Rouge (backing away,thinking) : What's happening?!
Her memory...
Knuckles: I guess it's like an instinct taking possession over its limit.
Back to Reality........
Rouge (thinking) : Could it have to do something with that?
*The black light disappears slowly,and Rouge approaches Knuckles*
Knuckles (trying to get up) : Ngh...
Rouge: Knuckies...?
Knuckles (forcing himself to sit) : I-I'm...o-okay...
Rouge: Knuckies...
Knuckles (giving her the Emerald) : Rouge,I got the Emerald here for you.
*Rouge carefully grabs the Emerald*
Knuckles: Have you become aware of me now?
Rouge: Knuckies,what are you talking about?
Knuckles (his back at Rouge) : You're approaching me slowly,and you didn't grab the Emerald as you would normally do. That's what I'm talking about.
*He turns around,and Rouge sees he has a kind of "sad" eyes being hidden*
exclaim exclaim Warning! Mush content increasing!
*Rouge hugs Knuckles*
Rouge (shedding tears) : I'm sorry,Knuckies...
*Knuckles remains quiet for the time*
(Short part-
*The Master Emerald glows brighter than ever* )
To the main room.........
Big: Tails,we passed Pluto and have found no Emerald-what do we do?
*Tails continues to observe the dark eco crystal*
Cosmo: Let him have some time alone,Big. He'll answer that question later.
Big: Okay.
Froggy: Ribbit.
*Rouge runs in from the front door with Knuckles*
Rouge (shouting) : You guys! We have the last Emerald!
Everyone (except Knuckles and Rouge) (astonished) : WHAT?!
One more entry left to go! The team has ALL SEVEN CHAOS EMERALDS! Finally,the time has come for them to go home,but will Chris be able to bear it? He cannot just let go of his bestest friends like a rock. What will Jenny do? She's thousands of miles away from her pack and might never see them again!
Shadow: There's something they don't know also.
Really? What is it?!
Shadow: I'm not telling...again...
Aww!! That Shadow is so good at keeping secrets! Well,will Chris be able to go with this change? What will happen to Jenny? Will the team get back home to their world? What about that "something" they don't know? And what about that escape plan Shadow has worked on? Will things work smoothly for Sonic and his friends?!
