Oh stars that shine in the sky so bright
How I wish you may, wish you might
How I wish you would grant my wish tonight
Your hold on my heart has been one so tight
Though I myself am kept out of sight
Oh how I've cried to sleep each night
Can you not see the damage done was not light?
Are you too blind to see that I'm not alright..
Oh why did you keep my heart in flight
Then cast it down, was it out of spite?
To make me part of your radient light
Then cast me out, into the cold winter-night
Why can't you be my star so bright?
