• Chapter 61 - Zeltaebar and Pradir

Mike snuck through the halls of the magic school, entering a room. Looking around, he noticed statuettes. He approached them, holding his hand out to take one.
Just as he was about to grab one, a tiefling and a human fell onto his back.
The human, Pradir, picked Mike up by the scruff of his neck, the tiefling, digging through the half-elf's belt pouch, noticed thieves' tools and the statuette.
"Well what do we have here?" the tiefling, Zeltaebar questioned.
"The headmaster toold me to take that to him." Mike bluffed, struggling to get free.
"The headmaster does not take kindly to thieves." Zeltaebar stateed, taking the statuette.
Both Pradir and Zeltaebar ran off.
"What just happened...?" Mike wondered to himself, leaving the room and walking through the halls.

He was knocked unconcious, dragged out of the school and hung by his toes from a statue.
Mike waited for his assailants to leave before he broke free. He once again entered the magic school, about to enter another room, when a monkey jumped out at him.
"You're late. Well, hurry up and get in there."
The half-elf had no choice, he entered and took a seat.
"Now. we will continue with advanced presdigitation."
Mike pulled out a sheet of paper and a quill and ink. He wrote on the paper:

"Never come here again until tomorrow!"

The class ended and he paused in the halls. He was tapped on the shoulder.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
"And what if I don't?" Mike asked arrogantly.
She opened her mouth, wide enough to scoop him up and spit him out in a swamp.
    His eye twitched.

    Chapter 62 - Enialis Heian

Stirges attacked the half-elf, but he cut them down.
More came as he walked through the swamp, he cut them down as well.
He reached the plains, barely sneaking past an orc-tribe. He entered the Kingdom of the Dragon through its gates.
He noticed a merchant dealing with a half-drow, who carried what looked like a heavy sack.
Mike crept behind the merchant, using his rapier to cut the man's coin purse.
"How much can I get for this?" the half-drow asked, pouring hundreds of gems from the sack. "You, what's your favorite color?"
    "Blue." Mike answered.
The half-drow pulled an aquamarine gem from the pile. He tossed it to the half-elf, along with a black crystal.
He knows something, Mike decided, following him quietly.

Mike approached a huge structure, stepping towards it.
The guards eyed the half-elf suspiciously, until he showed them the crystal.
The half-drow bade Mike to follow, even through the halls of the structure.
"Hello, Joker, I am Enialis." the half-drow greeted.
The half-elf was told by Wolfe that a hoker was someone not part of a thieves' guild.
    "I am Mike Arimil."
"I suppose you're here to take the test to become a ten-of-hearts."
    "I guess."
"The rules are simple...make it through and you win. Lose...and you die. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to grab a drink, but rest assured I'll be cheering not at all for you." Enialis pulled a bottle of Wormwood out, tilting his head back and pouring the drink inches from his mouth in the air.
