• As the man slowly came forth from the shadows Gideons' face wore an expression of complete horror. As the man neared Gideon, who was standing under the corner street light is face became visible. Now with his suspicions, and fears made manifest Gideon spoke, "You're supposed to be dead. I watched as the blade entered you heart and saw your chest drop with your final breath." Cast in the shadows of the street light the smile that made its way across the unknown mans face set Gideons' heart racing in fear. Involuntarily Gideons' hand dropped to the reassuring feel of the blade at this hip.

Letting a small chuckle loose the man watched the fear cross Gideons face and laughed evilly as he watched the hand fall to the blade. "Dear, dear Gideon why the surprise. I thought you would have figured out after the millennia that we spent in the void together, fighting the dark denizens of that place, you would have known me so much better," the man smugly remarked, "I cannot be killed with such mundane weapons or tactics." The man ended with a manic chuckle. Gideon scowled at the man his fear being replaced with total disgust and hate.

Raising his free hand Gideon pointed at the man and said, "Tyranor you are no longer who I once thought you were. You are not the man that I followed into the void those many years ago. You have become a murder and a scourge to our people. How can one so mighty as yourself have fallen so low, my once and former brother? I have asked myself that so many times since your fall. There will be a day when you and I face each other in combat but it is not this night." With his final words spoken Gideon turned and walked away leaving Tyranor standing in the light alone, laughing.
