• I was on the beach at sunset just staring at the cliffs. And then I felt as if my heart had been stolen and re- placed. A girl was standing on a cliff. Her amber orange hair was blowing in the breeze. Her skin was brown like fudge and her eyes were just like chunks of chocolate... a perfect dark brown. I was taken away by her beauty... I could have sworn she turned around and smiled at me. I’m sure she winked. Her lips were like delicate roses, a glossy red. A rush of air blew over me, and then I knew what I had to do. I walked up the steps and then onto the cliffs. She turned to me again. Her hair blew in the wind again.
    “Who are you?” she asked.
    “I’m... Dan...” I cringed.
    She giggled
    “You’re cute!” She giggled.
“Thanks...” I sighed and I ruffled a hand through my wavy black hair.
“My name is Abby.” She giggled
“What a beautiful name...” I replied
    “Thank you...” she cringed
    “No Problem.” I replied
“Your eyes... are just like emeralds... They seem to have a sparkle to them.” She told me sounding rather dreamy.
I felt my cheeks go warm... even though the wind was cold and bitter.
“I’ll, see you tomorrow ok?” I asked her.
She nodded and we walked down off the cliff, together and I entered my house and she carried on her journey down the road.

I got myself ready for bed and then I tucked myself into my blue sheets. A lot was on my mind... That girl... She was stuck there... I just couldn’t sleep! After a lot of tossing and turning I eventually fell asleep. The next morning I got ready extra early. I made myself some buttered toast and quickly ate up. Then I went up onto the cliffs and I saw she was waiting. She had a nicely wrapped box in her hands. The paper was sky blue and there was a lime green ribbon. But then she caught sight of me
“Don’t be shy, come on over!” she giggled.
I walked over to her and she held out the gift to me. Her smile warmed me up. Carefully I took the gift from her.
    “Thank you!”” I beamed.
I tugged at the ribbon and then gently pulled it off. Then I took of the paper with care. What I saw made me smile. My eyes filled up with happy tears. I wished I could hug her. There was a pony pushy, it had a dark chocolate brown mane and fur the same colour of her skin.
“It... it’s beautiful! I love animals, especially ponies! “I exclaimed.
“I made it myself!” she giggled.
“Wow... you’re so... talented.” I complimented
“Thanks.” She giggled and her cheeks lit up again.
“I have to go now...” she sighed
    “Why>” I asked
“My mum worries... I should get home. Do you think we should meet again at the carnival?”
“That sounds good.” I replied, ruffling my hand through my hair.
“Bye!” she giggled and she ran down the steps waving.
    A few weeks later...
I saw a girl, a familiar girl giggling by the candyfloss stand, eating candyfloss.
“That’s her.” I thought to myself.
Before talking to her, I brought myself a candyfloss and walked towards her.
    “Hi!” I said.
“Hi, shall we go somewhere quieter ‘It’s a little noisy here and lines are forming.
    “I Agree.” I replied.
We walked for a while over the village green where it was being held. We walked over the hill; there were and no no attractions people. For a while we sat and ate our candyfloss. We finished up but then she turned to me. Her smile defiantly showed she had something important to say. She held out her hand out and touched mine. It felt... so dainty.
“I... love you!” she confessed. Her face was even more lit up than ever.
“I... love you too!” I replied.
She hugged me and kissed me on the check. My heart was on a love rollercoaster, with loops and dives; we got up holding hands and then slowly walked back towards the carnival.
“How about the love boats?” she asked me.
“Perfect.” I replied, gently squeezing her hand. We had a romantic ride on the love boats buy then we couldn’t help ourselves and we must have gone on them about one hundred times. After that we made our way towards the beach and sat on the rocks near the sea.
“I remember... when we met, up there on the cliffs.” I beamed
She nodded at me and held me close.
I shut my eyes for a while and she shut hers. After a while we opened our eyes and watched the sunset. I faced her and she faced me. We kissed on the lips and then the last rays of the sun lit up our faces before hiding behind the ocean. Night came like a black blanket being thrown over us and the moon was like a perfect diamond.
We got up and went to my house. We popped some popcorn and got a coke with two straws and then headed to the living room. The sofas were shiny and rose red. We sat ourselves down and I put a movie on. We were curled up close the whole time. I gave a cheeky grin but she didn’t notice. My hand rustled in the bag of popcorn and I popped a piece into her mouth. She ate it and then giggled. We sipped the coke together and just had a great time. The movie was eventually over. Giggling Abby snatched the remote and put something else on. We fell asleep on the sofa, Abby cuddling me. A bright light shone through the window, waking us up. It was the sun. Lemon yellows sparkling like a jewel, the sun.
    “Good Morning...” she whispered sweetly.
“Morning Abby...” I whispered back stroking her fudge coloured hand. It was as soft as velvet.
    A few days later...
I heard a knock on my door. I was dressed smartly in a midnight black tuxedo with a rose red tie. A smile swept across my face. Carefully walking, my head held high I went downstairs and opened the door. My mouth hang open wide at what I saw. Abby was standing there looking more beautiful than ever. Her dress was red as the print of a kiss might be. Her hair was tied neatly in a romantic bun, being held up by a red bow. She was also wearing long lily white gloves.
“I know, no need to say” she giggled
We headed out and walked to the restaurant The Red Rose. Making our way to a table, I helped Abby to sit down. A waitress appeared and passed us our menus. Tomato soup was the decision for our starter. While we waited we just sat and chatted about what might become of our future... together... Soon the waitress came back with two bowls of soup. The bowls were beautifully illustrated with love hearts. It was perfect for a couple like us. The waitress served the bowls before us and then left. The flavourful steam rose up from the soup and collided with my face. I picked up the spoon which was as silver as real silver and then spooned the soup into my mouth. My taste buds began to sing! The flavour of the tomato clashed wonderfully with the delicious broth, and I could just taste the slightest pinch of salt. We soon finished our starter. The waitress came back and took our bowls and then we ordered lobster for our main course. The lobster came to the table, steam escaping from the openings. It looked almost.... alive!
“Eat up!” Abby giggled as she began slicing hers up
I sliced mine up and placed it in my mouth and then... the taste arrived... The lobster tasted perfect, the meat wasn’t cooked too much or too little. Once again the plate was empty, looking almost untouched. Finally the chocolate cake arrived. The vanilla frosting spiralled down to the core where a cherry laid. The chocolate dark brown and looked like heaven on earth, I spooned up some of the cake and then... my taste buds felt like they were dreaming... It was too good to be true...

The chocolate was rich and fluffy
It tasted as if I was actually chewing a chocolate bar but better.
The bill arrived and we equally shared the cost. We headed home in the sunset, holding each other’s shoulders. I went to my house and she carried on down the road.
Smiling, I got ready for bed and then fell asleep. I had the most amazing dream. Abby and I were riding through a flower field on ponies. The flowers were many colours... The colours were Cherry red, Peach Orange Cream Yellow, Royal Blue, Amethyst Purple and Tea Rose Pink. The flower types varied, from rose to lily, lily to daisy, daisy to orchid, orchid to tulip and tulip to lavender. My horse was wheat brown and Abby’s snow white. We were smiling, and our eyes were shut with happiness. Unfortunately it was all just a dream and I woke up. But I had a feeling today would be amazing... I knew it would be amazing...
First I had a shower; it was as warm as the summer sun and made me so... relaxed. Secondly I got into a plum purple t- shirt and ocean blue shorts. I put on some socks that were as white as the moon. I finalized the outfit with a pair of sky blue and ice white trainers. Suddenly my phone rang...
“It’s so early; I wonder who it could be...” I wondered
    I picked up my phone.
“Hello. Who is this?” I asked
“It’s me! Pack your bags and meet me at the airport!” an excited voice squeaked
    “Why>” I said puzzled
“It’s me Abby, sorry about that but we’re going to Paris and we are going to stay at a FIVE STAR HOTEL!” Abby squealed.

“Ok see you in a while, bye.” I replied
    “Love you!” she said
“Love you too!” I replied before blowing a kiss and d putting my phone down. My bags were soon packed. I walked to the airport as it really wasn’t far. She was waving at the airport entrance and then she came running and leapt into my arms. We brought our tickets and we were soon on the luxury flight to Paris. Soon the plane took off. Looking out of the window the view was breathtaking. A man arrived with a refreshments tray. There was so much choice! Cupcakes and sandwiches... Milkshakes and sodas and much more! The choice was hard but we both got a ham and cheese sandwich. We paid up and then the man left. The cheese was luscious and the ham tender. The filling squeezed between the bread as I bit into it.... I sighed with happiness and ate it all up. Many hours later the plane landed. It took a while but we reached the hotel. In we went and we got to our room on the top floor. The bed sheets were velvety and ruby red. White cushions were placed on the bed and there was so much to do just in a bedroom! A piano, an easel, a computer and more! We looked out the window and the view was beyond spectacular. We could see shops, buildings tree tops and the highlight of the city, the Eifel Tower! It was late so we headed for bed.
“Night Dan...” Abby sighed as she curled beside me in the sheets.
“Night, Abby...” I sighed and I shut my eyes...
Before we knew it dawn came creeping up and with a yawn and a stretch we woke up. French toast was brought to use and we ate up... The week passed quickly and we headed home.
I was in the park and then I heard a familiar giggle and a boy’s laugh. Abby came round the corner of the park... with another boy! This boy had a gingerbread orangey brown buzz cut and murky, mud brown eyes, He had peachy skin, just like my own and a charming smile. His tuxedo was as white as a ghost and his smart boots, as black as ebony.
“Abby? Who is he?”” I yelled shocked.
“His name is Joe.” She replied.
“But I thought...” I replied, my eyes filling up with tears.
“Abby Is MINE!” Back off.” Joe yelled.
“Abby... but why did you do it?” I asked and a tear trickled down my check, clear as crystal.
“Joe is rich and he buys me whatever I want!” Abby replied, clinging on to Joe.
“Money can’t buy love!” I yelled frustrated, all hot and bothered as tears carried on trickling down my cheeks.
“You’ve done enough damage here. Let’s settle this.” Joe exclaimed
“Please... Don’t fight!”Abby cried and she ran away from both of us...
Months passed... I was lonely in despair...
“Why Abby... why...” I groaned. Sighing I made my way to the beach and looked up at the cliffs.
“I remember the day we met up there...” I groaned
“Um... hey...” a familiar voice whispered
I turned around to see Abby... she was on her own.
“What do you want?” I said, still kind of annoyed with her
“Listen... I’m sorry Please make up with me... Joe left me and I’m just as lonely as you are now...” she cried
“Ok, I forgive you but please, stay with me this time...”
“Oh don’t worry... I will.” She giggled
She took my hand and we walked home... into the sunset.
A few weeks passed and I went round Abby’s... It was sunrise... We went to the beach.
I was holding a cerulean blue box that fitted perfectly in the palm of my hand. I knelt down before her and inside was a diamond ring.
“Will you... marry me?” I asked my face lit up as the sun woke up from behind the sea...
“Why Dan... Of course I will!” she slipped the engagement ring on and leapt towards me for a hug. We planned a wedding. The day came before we knew it. Abby looked beautiful in her gown which was as white as a perfect winter snowflake. She had a bouquet of cherry blossom pink roses. The words were said and we were happily married. Confetti was thrown and everyone celebrating for hours... From that day on we lived happily together, forever...
