• It was, as I remember it, a Thursday Australian Winter's morning when I really did something I never thought would happen. If anyone out there thinks lab coats are ugly, be thankful you wear one in Science class. I know I am.

I don't remember exactly what experiment it was when this happened. I just remember it required a bunsen burner And that it had something to do with Chemistry. So me and my friend, here we are setting up our work station. However what neither of us could smell was the gas had already been seeping out of the nozzle where the hose for the bunsen burner connects to.

So we're ready. Or are we? Let's find out.

I light the match, and as I light it to the bunsen burner, flames stream from it and the other nozzles (theres three at each station.) The wall was on fire! Luckily it was only that fuzzy stuff that can make pinning student's work or notifications a whole lot easier.
Me and my friend were very shocked, and my teacher kept leaping to suffocate the flames. (Bless his heart he was short.)
Luckily no one was hurt. But put it this way, after that I've never lit a Bunsen Burner ever again. xd
