Lovely little lonely thing,
Stay here by my side.
You know the more you let me in,
The more I seem alive.
Tear it out or cut it off,
Please do what I say.
We both know that we've had enough,
And it grows back again.
Let it out and let it in,
But do not let it go.
Lovely little lonely thing,
It's all that you have known.
Breaking down, close your eyes,
Sink to somewhere deep.
Take a breath and realize
You must lay me down to sleep.
