• I woke up early in the morning with freshness in the air
    Anticipating children and stockings filled with care
    Embellished christmas tree shining ever so bright
    Small Christmas presents "Santa" brought that night
    My family bought me a present... I wonder what it can be
    Maybe clothes, a game, or a sparkly golden ring
    I unwrapped the present... scared of what it would be
    But when it was unraveled... an empty, hollow heart was all I can see
    I wondered what it did and I wondered what it was
    My daughter replied, "Daddy it's our love"
    Tears filled my eyes and rolled down my cheek
    I was so emotional and proud I couldnt even speak
    Did they know this would happen?... that I probably doubt
    That's when I came to realize what christmas was about! heart
