• The snow drifted swiftly
    as my heart fluttered slowly
    christmas was coming
    and i was devoted

    Seeing trees light up
    And families together
    I thought to myself
    as the sunlight grew thinner

    "Why am I out here
    All by myself when
    my family is waiting
    all snug in the house?"

    So I quickly decided
    right then and there
    that my family was important
    and nothing could tear
    the feeling inside
    my heart, and my head
    as I walked down the pathway
    them standing right there

    So my family and me
    plain to see
    us all together
    where we all should be
