• Twas Christmas Eve
    And all through the house
    Not a creature was stirring
    Not even a mouse
At least...as far as Santa Claus thought
All the children were in bed
    Dreaming of presents
    When a loud BANG! erupted
    They sprung out of bed
    Is Santa Claus here?
    They ran down the stairs
    joyful and happy
    but when they got their
    They felt kind of sappy
    In front of them
    In a big red suit
    Was their big old papa
    Hiding the loot
    Daddy!
    The young children cried
    Santas not real
    Their aching inside
    Children
    The dad started
    Santa is real
    Oh yeah? They retorted
    Yes!
    I'm just helping him out!
    He took off late!
    And asked me to help
    So run off to bed
    Please do not cry
    Santa will come
    Dont you worry
    Then suddenly a noise
    In the chimney
    Ho ho ho!
    The children are laughing!
    Out comes a man
    In a big red suit
With a bag full of toys
    And lots of loot
    Hello Children
    HE said with a cheer
Your dear old Santa Claus is here!
    Please do not fret
    Please do not worry
    Climb into bed
    I'll take care of this
    The children were tired
Back up the stairs they went
    What an exciting Christmas
    The Children were spent
    They climbed into bed
    And listened with cheer
I can not wait til Christmas next year!
    Go Dasher
    Go Prancer
    Go Dancer
    Go Dixon
    On Comet
    On Cupid
    On Donner
    On Dixon
    But do not forget
    About the little reindeer
    On Rudolph!
    The gangs all here
    Merry Christmas!
