• Celia had refused to come down to supper and had been sitting in her room ever since she had got home, she lay on her bed, tears stained her face, the room now getting dark. Suddenly there was a great gust of wind, Celia’s brow furrowed and she sat up to close the window, when suddenly millions of feathers started to whoosh through her window, they seemed to have a complete mind of there own because she couldn’t feel the wind they seemed to be carried on. Her first reaction was to scream, but when she opened her mouth, nothing came out, she was to scared. they gathered together and started spinning round very fast in the centre of her room, Celia’s eyes grew wide, what the…? she thought. The feathers started to connect together, still whizzing round, they started to make something, a pair of wings. Celia stood up very slowly, quivering and took a step towards the bright pair of wings. Now it was just a pair of wings, hovering above the carpet, they were entwined around each other, forming something like a pod. Celia reached out a hand slowly and inquisitively. As soon as her fingertips touched the ever so soft feathers, the wings snapped open, reviling something from inside. she could see that they were connected to something now, and bright light shone from within. she tried to block out the blinding white light, there was a silloet of something. Someone. She fell back and shuffled over to the corner of her room, hugging in her knees tightly to her chest and resting her forearm over her eyes. This seemed to go on for some time althoe it could of only been a couple of seconds. The light suddenly dimmed. Quivering, Celia took her arm away and stared at what was standing in the centre of her room. A man, tall, young, his hair was such a pail blonde that it almost looked white, and it seemed to shimmer. he seemed to have a white aura surrounding him, and attached to his back were the wings, there colure, a bright white with what seemed like streaks of shimmer. The man smiled at her warmly and stepped over to her and celia, eyes wide, shuffled back agenst the wall even more, squishing herself up tightly, trying to get away as fast as possible, she would of, if it wernt for this wall.
“been having a bit of trouble?” he asked, reaching out a hand, Celia stared at him, stared at his handsome yet beautiful face, his sky blue eyes...she was stunned. He cocked his head slightly and extended his hand a little more, Celia slowly, very slowly reached out her own, she touched his skin, it felt so light, so soft, then she gripped his hand and he pulled her up to her feet, she stood there gazing at him, at his wings “so…” he said, clearing his throught uneasily. “your…” Celia started
    “yes?” he asked
    “your…an…angel?”
“that’s right.” He said back, smiling. “and your Celia Cassen.” she continued to stare at him.
“how…how do you know my…name?” he shrugged
“uhh…guessed?” he smiled weakly, he went over and sat on the side of her bed, Celia stared at the ground, deep in thought.
“god…an…angel.” She muttered to herself “an…angel?! In…in my room?! W…how?” the angel looked up at her.
“hm? ye…angel, that’s right, I am, angel, that’s me.” He grinned, Celia looked up.
    “you…have wings.” She said slowly
    “ye…we usually do.”
“you…you …speak…” the angel stared at her.
“it…would appear that way, yes.” She continued to stare at him. There was a long uncomphtable silence then Suddenly a knock on Celia’s door.
“Celia…are you going to have anything to eat? And…are you going to actucaly come out of that room?” her mum. They both glanced at the door, the man glanced back at Celia and put a finger to his lips. Shh. “uhh…” Celia tried to find the right words, tried to actchaly get something out of her mouth.
“uhhh…not…hungry, ill…uhh…I don’t feel like coming down right now…think ill…uh…ye, ill go to sleep soon anyway, i'm tired.”
“well…” said her mum “if…your shore?”
    “a-absolutely.” She said quickly.
“well…ok then.” And she left, her footsteps could be herd as she went downstairs. Celia looked back to the angel…and stared, not speaking yet again. he rolled his eyes.
“I can understand why, I mean, I would have loads of questions if an angel appeared in my room…not that its out of the norm for me, pretty…regular…actually.” Celia raised and eyebrow “so.” The man said “to answer some of your questions; I am, Reyos, random name I know, iv been sent down from up there-” he jerked his head to the sky “to help you.” He pointed to her. “I was set on the task of helping people, found the right person the help, witch was you, I watched you for a while and finally was aloud to come help out. My wings are how I get around…but that whole fancy display I gave you back there with the feathers…? I was just showing of really, thought id come in with a bang…witch probably scared you haf…to deth…mmm…must make a note not to do that again…” He trailed of then smiled. “I know your name because I chose you to help, I immediately get all your details and see everything that’s happened in your life and so on.” Celia stood rooted to the spot, mouth open, Reyos tilted his head and smiled “you look a bit like a fish.” He raised an eyebrow and Celia immediately closed her mouth “but…”
    “yeeeeeees?”
“uh…just…you’re an angel!” his brow furrowed “I thought we had got passed knowing that?” she went silent. “but this is just so…-”
    “weird?”
    “no…just-”
    “abnormal?”
“no! just so…so!” Reyos paused for a second.
“…right…ok…” he coughed slightly “so your having a spot of bullying?” Celia stared.
“…uhh…ye…how did…how did you know?” his brow furrowed.
“I got all your information…you know? What I said In my little speech back there…?” Celia stared, and it was obvious that he wasn’t going to be able to get her to say much.
“…anyway.” He continued. “i'm going to help you with this bullying and make it stop.” Celia still didn’t speak for a minuet or two.
“…but.” She suddenly said, making Reyos jump.
“ah…she lives!” he said chuckling. Celia went silent again.
    “…damn.” he said “so close.”
    “but…” she repeated. Reyos smiled
    “ah ha!”
“you’re an angel…” Reyos sagged and groaned, rolling his eyes to the heavens – figuratively speaking ofcorse.
“you’ve said that about five times now! Ye, we’ve got the concept that I am an angel, now please-”
“no.” Celia interrupted, and Reyos stared at her. “I mean…if you help me, u'll have to come to my school or something, and…wont the others be like…what i'm like now?”
    “…like?”
    “…maybe a bit…stunned?”
“oh.” Reyos said quickly “don’t worry, I can sort that out.”
    “wuh…how?” he smirked.
    “you’ll see in the morning.”
“…the…morning? You mean…your intending on coming back?”
“…yes I am, I wouldn’t be much good if I just came to tell you that I was going to help you and then go away and not come back again would I? that would just be a little confusing and mean…and id probably loose my job and get kicked out of heaven witch wouldn’t be nice, and everyone would laugh at me and I really would be a human an and then they’d-”
“uh…” Celia voice cut of Reyos.
“yes?” he asked, coking his head.
    “eh…your rambling…again.”
“…ah…sorry.” He smiled. “but really, I have come to help.”
    “…why? I mean, I know you’re an angel and all…but why?”
“well, because its my job and I have to protect you otherwise you will-” he suddenly coughed loudly “die.” He coughed again a couple of times, patted his chest and smiled “and, ye, its my job and all and-”
“wait!” Celia shouted Reyos stopped again and looked at her, slightly surprised. “…what…what did you just say?”
“uh…nothing! I was just saying that its my job to protect people – you – otherwise you will-”
“die?!” she said suddenly. Reyos suddenly shook his head.
“I didn’t say that! Why would I say that? Your not going to die come on, I mean, as if”-”
“i'm…going to die?!” she shouted, Reyos sagged.
“maybe, I cant tell a lie, the bullying will eventually lead to…your probable death…”
“…no…no your lying! Your lying!” she shouted “you cant just…your lying! I don’t know you, your making this up!”
“i'm sorry…” he said softly “angels cant tell a lie…”
“what…? …no…no, I cant die…I don’t want to die…” she stared at Reyos, tears coming into her eyes. “Reyos!” she shouted “I don’t want to die!” she slumped to the floor sobbing. Reyos sat there, no quite knowing what to do, there was nothing he could do after saying a thing like that. He slowly stood up, walked over to her and knelt in front her, resting his hands on her shoulders. “…this is why i'm here.” He said softly, soothingly. “Iv come to protect you…” Celia lifted her head, her face dark and red “no…” she said then she jumped up and ran over to her bed “no! you cant do this! go away!” she yelled “stop telling me these things! Stop lying! Go away!” Reyos stood up and turned to her.
    “Celia…”
“no!” she yelled “go away!” then she ran forward and pushed him back with all her strength, he stumbled and fell back…out her open window. Celia stared at the window, a light breeze gusting in, had she just…killed someone? Someone who was pretending to be an angel? She was about to step over to the window, when she suddenly saw
Reyos whoosh up, his wings beating down hard on the air currents.
“w…whu?” he stared at her for a second, just hovering there, then he vanished in a while of feathers. She stood there, transfixed slightly, staring into the night sky, breathing in the cold air. Then she closed her window, was she really going to…die?
she slowly walked back to her bed, how was she even going to get to sleep?
