• I tried to push the White Shadow's arms off of me, just wanting to escape, not understanding a word what he said.
    I was afraid.
I was afraid of everything and I was almost afraid of myself. The Shadow let go of me. He took 5 steps back and I saw the shining drops running down his cheeks again, and again, they turned into cold smoke, running from him.
'I know you're afraid. I know I'm not normal,' he spoke to me, 'But please, please. If I tell you my one wish, my only wish, the wish I have been wishing for as along I have been like this, will you make it come true?' he almost fell, and his shadow began to turn darker. He was turning into the colour of the night. Slowly disappearing into the pigments of the walls.
He was gone. Or was he?
I took a step forward from my place in the hollow room, hesitating to look around. I felt the cold icy breath travel around my neck, and I could barely see the hands as dark as night close around my stomach, securing my arms to myself. I screamed and The Shadow's hands ran across my mouth, making the noise vanish, and he turned me to his face. His features were outlined in silver, and I could still see his eyes. He took my face in his hands and looked at me for quite a while.
I got to get a closer look as well. He wasnt an animal. He was human. He was...he...wasnt a human. There was something missing. I tilted my head and his grip relaxed a little bit. I bit my lip and looked down at my feet. Out of the black of the room, he pinned me down onto the floor, nailing my hands and legs underneath him. He got closer to me, almost as if he was doing a push -up, and right when he hit that ninety degree angle, forehead touching mine...
He whispered, practically freezing my neck and making my heart jump...
    'I want your heart.'
