• Though I may have had the advantage having the hallway clear last time coming in a little later, but this was a whole different story. My guide picked me up about right as I walked out the door. Then as she saw me she started walking again. I almost lost her as we headed to my locker.

I opened up my locker to get my stuff for art class, one of my favorite classes, I grabbed my sketch pad, supplies and tried to tug out my binder, which was a little stuck.

I suddenly felt a cold and slimy feeling, I looked around and found some strawberry and nuts smoothie for someone of spilled on me. I looked around.

Alicia was staring at me right in the face, "What are YOU looking at" she said like she didn't know, "Oops...sorry." she said with a deviled grin and a innocent baby voice. She waved bye with a smirk, and started laughing with her posse. I looked at my guide to see she was flirting with boys not even noticing a thing, it mad me so boiling mad. I sighed turned to my guide told her I was going to the bathroom and went, pushing my way there along the crowd.

The sea of people kept getting worse the more time I spent in it. It hardly had any breathing space. This school should really not accept any more registrations. This place has to be over its established capacity.

I finally got to the bathroom, and as I tried to open the door someone jammed me into it. I felt like a pancake, finally I got myself through the door. Which I stumbled into to find myself gasping for air, eventually I made it to the sink, with my regained breathing.

I splashed my face with water, such a wonderful refreshment to that heavy sweaty hallway passage. I then grabbed the end of my hair and turned the nuzzle to the sink. I smoothed my hair out and bathed it under the water, which was very hard to get the yogurt all out. It only mad me madder and I scrubbed harder and added more and more, soap why does this kind of stuff always have to happen to me?

I scrubbed some more, it just wouldn't come off. I looked up for a sec and saw an African American standing next to me staring.

    "Alicia, right?" she said.

"Uh, no my name is Audrey." I replied.

"No, I mean she did that to you right?" she clarified herself.

"Yeah, yeah I guess she did." I looked down at my hair feeling a little ashamed.

"Here, let me help you, I know how hard it is to get yogurt out." she said smiling and reached for me hair.

    "Thanks." and I smiled back.

After a couple minutes of insane none stop scrubbing we got all the nuts and yogurt out. To realize the tip of my hair was in very bad shape now, all wet and uncombed. We then tried drying it with paper towels which didn't work that well, but it looked o.k, better then leaving it what.

"Thanks" I said after everything over.

"Welcome, I'm Claire," She replied back to me, "I was in your last class, last row."

I blushed because I truly didn't remember her.

"Anyways you should stay away from Alicia; she isn't necessarily the friendly type." Claire continued

"Yeah I noticed." I said back, because it was kind of obvious.

"Well, um...I better get to class; don't want to be late for art." Claire said.

"Oh! Me too." I replied surprised.

"Really? Cool, we can walk to class together then, maybe even sit next to each other, cause you seem like a really nice girl" She said back.

"Thanks, you too," as we walked out the bathroom door. Right out there was my senior guide, who turned and glared at us.

"Your SUPPOSED to stay with my at ALL times" the senior said putting emphasize in her word.

"Well, me, I... had" I was scrambling for words.

"Stop talking, you see this hallway, its empty. Why? Because your late." she replied, "Come on lets go."

Then all of us walked down to class.
