• On May 19th, 1927, a baby was born. Her parents chose to name her Marie. When Marie was five, Franklin Roosevelt wasd elected president. When Marie was fourteen, a war broke out. The morning of Marie's seveteenth birthday, she awoke to a shot and a terrified scream. Hitler was in her house, and he had shot her father. After a while, Hitler and his Nazis left, taking Marie with them. Within a day or two, Marie was in a concentration camp for girls.
I am Marie, and I'm going to tell you my story straight from the pages of my diary. I am going to start my story from the morning of my seventeenth birthday, which is also the time at which I was on my way to the concentration camp.
