    Appearance- Ash black hair; medium length, unkempt, swept to the left, and lying slightly in his eyes. Dark Green eyes with an inner shine. Average skin; marked in a few places by burn scars and other old injuries from his prior lifestyle. Athletic build, thanks to his military training. Average height of around 6". Used to wear a standard brown Arian military uniform, but now wears a ashen equivalent as the special uniform for the HANGMEN squad. He also usually carries around a small knife in his right boot and a small sketch book in his left breast pocket.

    Bio- Michael was once a promising sergeant who came from an impoverished and lowly background and quickly rose to prominence as an accomplished and skilled combatant, tactician, and leader. His downfall and betrayal came as a result of his greatest treasure: his younger sister, Emilia. With both of them orphaned at a very young age and left without any family or relatives to take them in, they were often forced to scavenge and steal to survive. As a child Michael swore to always protect his sister's smile and innocence from the cruelty of the world, so when a rare opportunity presented itself in the form of a distinguished soldier offering Michael and his sister aid in return for Michael's service within the military, he accepted. Little did he know that his future success would make him the target for a corrupt plot to weaken the Republic and cause them to lose the upcoming war. Emilia was taken hostage and Michael was given an ultimatum: sabotage the Arian army in an impending pivotal battle or his sister will be killed; Michael chose the former. Unfortunately, while he weakened the army before the battle, he was caught and apprehended before he could truly complete his task, thus he sat in his prison cell knowing that with Emilia's death there is no real meaning to his life anymore. As a member of the HANGMEN, Michael acts as a recon agent and sub- lieutenant due to his prior experience within the standard military. While his original goal within the unit was to simply await his inevitable demise, his encounters with his fellow squadmates and captain will slowly, but surely begin to shift his mind toward a possible salvation for his broken soul. He has a quick thinking and innovative mind; a result of his survival of the fittest background. He has a sketching habit that developed as a result of both his patron's suggestion and his sister's encouragement; a habit he still partakes in after her death in order to calm his mind. His favored weapon is a sidearm quite similar to an M1911 pistol.
