The little things and how they matter...
this is where you'll probably find the nonsense from the guy with his head in the clouds...
Story Entry#3
I know you've all been waiting for this, so here it is. The next entry for the story! And since I've taken my sweet time to write this, I think a recap is in order. Ok, so this is what's happened: After being swept through a portal and landing in a barren desert, Ace is both cold and confused. He manages to find some clothes and starts walking, but he falls asleep before long. In the morning, Ace meets a strange traveler. Ace follows the traveler to the nearest town. There in a saloon an outlaw comes to claim the head of Vash The Stampede, who turns out to be none other than the traveler. After the danger had passed, Ace and Vash went on their way. Now onto the next part!

"Not So Much Fun And Games"

I traveled with Vash for about a week. During that time, I watched him solve most of his troubles without firing a single bullet. I began to wonder if he knew how to use it. But then again, he wouldn't have such a bounty on his head if he didn't. And as crazy as it seemed, though Vash was an outlaw, he didn't act like one, and any trouble that involved him was always started by someone else. He seemed more like the kind of person that didn't want to hurt friend and foe alike. He endured gunfire from so many. I had a chance to see him dodge the bullets with ease (and I think I can copy him to the exact movements now. Told you I was perceptive!). I even once saw him deflect a fatal bullet with a rock! Well, it was more of a pebble, but still! There would have been one less man on this planet if not for that pebble. And it was only on the second-to-last night that he showed me that he could shoot. I lined up a bunch of his empty bottles (he liked to drink) and dared him to shoot them from 20 feet away. They were all shattered and not a single shot missed. I paid close attention to how he fired.

At the end of the week, I got up early and began doing a training exercise I had seen Vash do one morning. I took a pistol, and like Vash, began to balance an egg on the barrel. I then began to quickly holster and draw the pistol before the egg fell, keeping the egg from rising or falling from its place. I slipped up and the egg wound up on the floor. Vash was still going. Maybe it was because he had been a gunman long before I had ever held a gun that he was so good at it. He took the egg off the tip of his gun. "I have to say you're pretty good at that!" Vash said with a smile. We changed out of our night clothes and headed out. It was a nice day, and it wasn't all too hot. I was still sweating thanks to these black clothes. "Maybe I should buy a hat." I said, thinking outloud. Just then a scream was heard, and Vash took off running. I followed after him. There was a burly man with a long beard and a red sash standing in the middle of the road. A young boy was under one of his feet. He held a shotgun, which was pointed at the boy's head. His gruff voice rang out."Listen lady," The burly man said. "I don't care how you do it. Just pay up or this boy's head is a thing of the past." Without really thinking, I drew my pistol and fired off 3 shots. everyone thought it was one though, since it was too fast for them to hear the other two shots (Another trick I learned from Vash wink ). The shotgun now lay quite a distance from the burly man. The third shot had plowed into the trigger, rendering the gun useless. "What!?" The burly man shouted. "Who's the wise guy? come on out if you know what's good for this kid." I made a move to step out, but then Vash blocked me and stepped out himself. After having a few words with the burly man, the burly man took his foot off the kid, apologized to the lady, and left quite quickly. The both of us also beat a hasty retreat from the crowd. once out of town, Vash let his curiosity get to him. "How'd you learn to shoot like that?" He said, a very puzzled look on his face. "I learn from the best. You know how you showed me how you can shoot so well last night? Let's just say I studied real hard." Vash was surprised, but he didn't get to ask me what it was he was going to say next. That was because the sand underneath me gave way, and I plummeted to an unknown fate.

So, what do you think has happened to Ace? Has his adventure ended before it began? or is this the start of something new? Check in next time to find out!
[note: I've decided that I'm going to do story parts that are either loosly related or not a part of the actual storyline of the anime. This is because there is more creativity in me making up a story for myself as opposed to altering someone else's work and throwing in my own tidbits.]
