The Incredibly Useless Journey
Ok, here's a good story for you. On Monday, I was supposed to go to Trueman college to take a test that would allow me to apply there. I had to be there by 4:00 PM. So my parents planned on having me meet my dad and have him take me there, since he used to to carpentry there. So we walk all the way to the train station (in 80 degree weather for about a half hour or more) and take the train there. The walk was brutal since my dad seems to be able to walk at an incredible pace when he's in a hurry. We arrive there at Trueman with 40 minutes to spare only to find out that their computer system was down, and the test was canceled. So after a quick stop to get something to quench our thirsts, we go back to the train station. I almost wound up stuck because the stupid machine accepts student transit cards but doesn't open for them. I was lucky that a kind woman helped me get through. After taking the train, Me and my dad had to walk from the train station to the bus stop that led home. And all I got out of that trip was sore feet. gonk
