Note: Some ridiculous s**t on my part. You don't NEED to read this chapter, but I'm sure you all will. This is really short and is something that is now known as a 'distraction chapter' but there will be drama next chapter so wait for it. Or better yet, skip this and get right to the drama. That'll work just as well.
Chapter Fourteen:
Overall, Sami hated gym class but there were two things about it that she enjoyed- one was the fact that they always seemed to be playing dodgeball, the only sport besides kickball that she was somewhat good at and two were the uniforms. To put it lightly, Sami wasn’t very thin and the fact that they had to wear these old athletic shorts that seemed to be handed down to them from the seventies and would be classified as booty shorts now didn’t exactly please her but the fact Troy had to wear them too definitely did. The girls and the boys were divided into separate gym classes but his was right after hers and just seeing Troy in those shorts was enough to make her whole day.
She was jolted out of her thoughts of getting Troy out of those shorts as one of the red balls whizzed over her head. Luckily, she was only five feet tall and didn’t have to duck; it was way too high to hit her. She turned her head quickly to see the ball smack Hayley Williams in the chest, knocking her over. Her bright orange and yellow hair flew in front of her face as she lay on the ground, like a soldier shot down in battle. The gym teacher barked at her to shake it off but she barely moved. Sami was about to go and help her up when another red ball shot in front of her stomach and bounced off the wall behind her. She grabbed it as it rolled past her converse high-top and chucked it blindly. She heard it slam against someone’s face and then there was a shrill, high-pitched screech. Sami tried to stifle her giggles when she saw Avril Lavigne’s nose start bleeding as the gym teacher passed but the teacher gave her a secretive smile for her job well done. None of the kids in the Gang were in her gym class, but she did have some friends and dodgeball allies in gym class. One of them was Meg White, an incredibly pale girl with long black hair, which was tied up in a ponytail for class. It was strange to see her in anything besides white, red and black, which were her signature colors. She was a very soft-spoken but sweet girl and she had a strong throwing arm; it was nice to be allied with her when you were playing dodgeball. Sami gave Meg the signal to duck as a ball came zooming towards Meg’s head. She ducked, grabbed the ball on the rebound, and it slammed into Stacy Ferguson’s, (who was better known as Fergie) stomach. She fell over backwards and the game was over. Sami ran over and gave Meg a high-five. Meg gave her a small smile. The class was dismissed. Sami left without even going to the locker room; she was incredibly self-conscious and lucky for her, it was her last period, so she was ready to go home, shower, and then perhaps entertain Troy. Oh, it was more than perhaps, she thought as she walked down the hallway to leave school.
“Hey, baby, where are you going in such a hurry?” Sami turned around and smiled at her boyfriend. She looked him over; he was wearing those shorts. She bit her lip and giggled. “You know, you could be wearing a garbage bag and I’d still want you as badly as I do right now.”
Troy walked over to her and they kissed. The hallway was deserted, save for the two of them. “You know, I can always skip gym and you and me can have some fun. It would be exercise for both of us,” he whispered in her ear. “Troy!” she squealed as he pulled her closer to him. “You’re so bad!” “Baby, it’s those shorts. I just can’t resist you,” he said, one hand running up her shirt, the other hand grabbing her a**.
“We can’t do this here!” she said, though she didn’t really care as much as she was letting on. “And I look terrible in these shorts.”
He stopped and gave her one of his classic “What the ********?” looks. “Are you kidding me? You have to be kidding me.”
“You know for a fact I look bad in these!” Sami argued. She pushed him off and spun around. “Look! I’m too fat for these.” Troy let out a low whistle. “Damn.” “So you’re agreeing with me?” “Nope, I’ve made up my mind- I’m skipping gym,” he said, with a huge grin. He lifted her up and carried her out of the school building.
