The little things and how they matter...
this is where you'll probably find the nonsense from the guy with his head in the clouds...
Story Entry #5
It's been a while since I did a story entry. The spell of summer got to me. You know how it makes you lazy sometimes. Anyway, here's a recap of what happened last time (You're gonna need it after two almost two month's of no stories). After falling into a dark pit void of light, Ace wandered in the dark. He heard strange voices and soon after he got attacked by a ninja girl. Ace fended her off and continued to walk. Then he found what he thought was a wrecked ship. The ship was in fact a derelict, but the interior looked completely unharmed. On his way out, Ace was once again confronted by the ninja girl. So let's find out what happens in this entry.

"The Origin of Disaster"

So there she was, right in front of my exit path. I still had the sword in my hands, so I was ready to defend myself. But to my surprise, not only were her blades sheathed, but she didn't seem like she had even come to fight. So we began to talk. It turned out that the girl's name was Alraune. She had been an apprentice under the previous guardian of darkness. She told me stories of their travels together. How they had done many things to keep the balance of light and dark. But one thing she told me really surprised me. She told me that neither light or dark is completely good or evil. That made some sense once she told me more about the guardian of light. His name hadn't originally been "Negative Zero". He had been a good boy for many years. He was skilled in everything he did. He was a regular prodigy. Unfortunately not everyone saw him in a good light. His relatives thought that he was too proud of himself. And the kids he grew up with saw him as a stuck up child who was too good to hang out with them. So he became miserable and started calling himself "Negative Zero". He began sealing himself away from others. Years later, his parents sent him to take the trial of light, a ritual designed to pick the new guardian of light. He passed easily. But the newfound power began to go to his head. He saw it as a way to control those who had scorned him so long ago.

In order to pull of his plan effectively, Negative Zero needed someone to take the fall. He started by using his newfound power to craft demons, which he called Demonix because they were a mixture of sorts. He scattered them across the universe and blamed the guardian of darkness for it. People believed him because the demons were black in color. This forced the guardian of darkness to go out and dispatch these nuisances himself to clear his name. Negative Zero took that opportunity to hunt him down and eliminate him. After doing so, people saw him as a hero. However, Negative Zero continues to create Demonix and scatter them across the universe. Knowing that the people will count on him will only make his revenge more sweet, because he has no intention of saving them.

I heard this and it appalled me. To think that someone would go as far as to put the entire universe in danger to satisfy his own twisted sense of revenge! I couldn't just sit around. "I can't just sit around and do nothing. Not only did Negative Zero kidnap my friends, but he's putting the universe in danger! I've got to stop him!" I started messing with the controls on the ship, not knowing if the ship could even fly anymore. As it just so happened, it could still fly, and I didn't know that I wasn't hitting random buttons. A hidden memory inside showed me what to hit. It's hard to describe how I could have even known how I knew. But the ship powered up, and before I knew it, it was flying up into the sky and right into space.

Now that he's out in space, what will happen next? Find out in the next installment! (Trust me, this time it won't take a month to write)
