I almost always have a horrible time the night before Christmas. This year wasn't an exception. I went to bed at 9:00 this year. I laid in bed waiting to drift off to sleep, but it just stayed out of range. And eventually 3:00 in the morning rolled around. I couldn't take it anymore, so I got up and went to my bro's room, thinking that he might be having the same trouble. Nope. He was dead asleep when I knocked on his door. After that happened I went back downstairs. Of course, my walking around had riled up the dogs (who had been sleeping in my room that night), which in turn woke up my parents. My dad got ticked off, so I tried once again to try and sleep. However, one of my dogs got into a fit and started rolling around on my bed, making it impossible for me to even try. Of course, it was 3:45 when he stopped and laid back down. One thing that seriously annoyed me was that my cat and my dogs were sleeping peacefully and I couldn't sleep a wink. Eventually my mom came up at 4:00 and decided to talk with me for the next hour and a half. After we opened our presents, I went back to my room and finally found sleep. And this seems to happen to me every year. I can't help but wonder how things are gonna go next year.
