Today is independence day. What's the point of it if many people just see it as a time to explode fire crackers, get drunk, party like idiots, etc. Doesn't anyone see what happened this day???
July 4th 1776 United states declared their independence from Britain. It is NOT the day they officially got their independence but when they Declared it. Thomas Jefferson wrote the the Declaration of Independence. He went draft after draft till he got the right one, which is now our Declaration of Independence.
Okay so reason fire crackers became known for 4th of July was basically because of the Star Spangle Banner: "With the rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air" That's where the entire fire crackers came from.
But does that matter to you people? No! You just want to get drunk, party, basically use this as an excuse for what ever stupid s**t you're going to do. No one appreciates the history in this day, and I'm pretty damn sure they don't acknowledge it either.
(Know you see why i was Mr. Sanchez's favorite student??)
