7 years later...
As I sat in Adam's lab, I carefully examined the video tape of a news recording the day Adam went out. As I replayed it over and over again after every 23 seconds I paused it. There was a dark figure in a mixed up shape. I sketched the out line and filled it in with pencil. "Hm... what is this?" I asked myself quietly. Then Kevin came in. "Dude, you've been in here doing all this "What happened to Adam" crap since we were 7." Kevin tried to tell me. “ What are you trying to say?" I asked in disgust. " That, we're... look Vaughn we need to move on- YOU have got to move on. Adam is gone and we can’t change it. Your 14, I’m 13. Aren’t we supposed to get started with high school in September?" Kevin explained. " Yeah you sure are lucky Adam helped you skip a grade." I laughed. " I never liked the idea of going to the second grade. So will you please get off your butt and go to "Pablo's Preposterous Pizza" now? I wanna try those mini pizza squares." Kevin insisted. " Yeah I heard those are pretty good lets go." I said.
