Führer King Bradley -- or preferably, "The Ultimate Eye" -- is the current head of the state military and president of Amestris. When first introduced, this elderly man comes off as a very kind and wise leader. When the Elrics wound up in the Central hospital he abandoned all his work to go visit them (bringing a watermelon as a gift).
Yet underneath it all, King Bradley lead a secret double life even from his own family. It is eventually revealed this man was the seventh and youngest Homunculus: Wrath.
He was originally one candidate amongst hundreds in a secret program created by Father and the Amestrian military to find the perfect ruler of Amestris. The process involved training already physically fit young men to their peak, then injecting a raw Philosopher's Stone from Father's body into theirs. He was the first to survive this process, becoming the first Homunculus with the ability to age.
Because of this, he is constantly complaining about the fact his aging body (well into his early 60's) can't keep up with his special powers. These, being the ability of foresight and light-speed reflexes. In battle Wrath favors using swords, which he wields with deadly accuracy thanks to his unique gifts, to the point where he can wield five blades simultaneously. In fact, he has tamed his skills so well he is perhaps the strongest hand-to-hand fighter among all Homunculi.
Wrath has his Ouroborus mark imprinted on his left eyeball, which he hides under an eye patch.
In the first anime, Wrath mostly occupied the same role of "hidden enemy". The only difference was in his name, which was switched to Pride.
