Emi's ramblings
Sometimes I babble about stuff. Sometimes people care.
96. Iced Earth, 95. Stuck Mojo
96. ICED EARTH - Iced Earth rank as one of the most talented bands around--and they're not ashamed to showcase their abundant skills at a moment's notice. Their expansive style makes this unit's brand of power metal a true treat for all who hear it.
Latest Release - The Crucible of Man: Something Wicked Part 2 (2007)
My Opinion - I absolutely love Iced Earth. While most of their work has been based on dark fantasy or horror films, like Dracula or Wolf, they've done a few things that have deviated from that formula, such as their cover of Bad Company's classic Shooting Star or their album The Glorious Rebellion (an album based around the American Civil War). Not to say that they should deviate from their standard topics, but I find that their best songs in my opinion are the ones that don't focus on demons and such. That said, The Reckoning and Ten Thousand Strong are my favorites. These guys totally get a full five from me. talk2hand talk2hand talk2hand talk2hand talk2hand

95. STUCK MOJO - These Southern-friend rockers have always been a band proud to dance to their own slightly-off-center beats--both literally and figuratively. Rap 'n rock before rap 'n rock was tired, they helped pioneer some ofmetal's most "out-there" sounds. They liked wrestling, too.
Latest Release - The Great Revival (200 cool
My Opinion - Typically, I'm not a big fan of rap. However, Stuck Mojo takes metal music and a metal message and throws in a rapper for a frontman and it turns out pretty great. I don't listen to them much, so I can't say much else about them. But from what little I know about these guys, I can give them a definite three for skill. pirate pirate pirate
