Daily journal of how much I exercise, eat, and how I feel physically
So, I just got back from my 30 mile ride, and I am TIRED! Not as tired as I suppose I should be... I tried to keep my speed up around 17 miles an hour, but I failed! For several reasons: 1) it was cold, and my bronchial tubes weren't as open as I would have liked them to be. It wasn't quite an asthma attack, but next time I will use my inhaler before I leave. 2) I'm not as fit as I would like to be! 3) Because it was cold, it was hard sustaining long efforts because, until it started to warm up, I felt very sluggish. But, mostly it's reason 2.

As for calorie intake... yesterday I wanted food in the evening, though I'm not sure if it was because I was hungry or craving. Today will be interesting, though not a good indicator of what my basal metabolism is. Monday and Tuesday will be a better gauge.

I'm going to go on a 20 mile ride on Wednesday (provided it's not nasty out) and try harder to keep my speed up.

Food for today:
Tea time! - Biscotti - 174 calories
Breakfast - veggie scramble on a tortilla - 410 calories
Mid biking snack - Cliff Bar - 240 calories
Glycogen recovery - cereal and milk - 260 calories
Dinner - Curry - 500 calories
Dessert - Cookies - 300 calories

Total - 1884 calories (WOW!)
