Ok so yesterday I posted my introduction journal entry. Today there's a few new things.
I'm building my profile. The other day I tried saving settings, but things wouldn't save. Things are saving today so here it goes. I figure I'll go for another modified theme from tektek. I like the overall layout of the Cowboy Bebop theme so I'll probably use that as the foundation. The profile is done through CSS coding which I don't know. I'm going with my knowledge of HTML mostly. Codes for color look like #FF1290 or something. There is a pound symbol then a 6 character combination. Each character can be the letter a through f or can be a number. Then there are the images. I just look for a URL ending in an image extension like .jpg or .png. I can load the image in another tab to make sure it's the image I want to replace. If I want to replace it I just replace the image URL with one of my own. That's in case any of you want to know.
Last month I ordered a free sample of Emergen-C. It's something of a nutrient supplement. It's got a gram of vitamin C and several other vitamins and minerals. After a month and a day it came in yesterday. Considering you're supposed to wait 5 to 7 weeks that's pretty good since It was only 4 1/2. I got Tangerine, Orange, and Pink Lemonade. At the first of the month we picked up some Immuni-C which is pretty much the same product but another brand. The Immuni-C had tangerine. They both taste about the same. It doesn't taste all that good.
On Wednesday I gave blood for the "Civil War" blood drive. The Civil War is a big grudge match football game between Oregon State University and University of Oregon. I'm not sure why the Red Cross advertises it. It could just be a means of trying to draw in more donors. If it works then that's good. We need more donors. Each year they give out some crappy little Civil War item. Last year they gave out a crappy little pen with a spring loaded scroll. This year we got decks of playing cards which is kinda cool.
Anyway I'm going to get started on the profile theme now.
