I just figured I'd stereotype the average users of certain forums.

The average OP is a tl;dr post. The wall of text takes forever to read and they expect you to read everything to the letter or not post at all. You're supposed to be "intelligent enough" to read all of that to be entitled to an opinion. I guess not having enough determination to read 10 or so paragraphs is a sign of stupidity.

The average response is another paragraph or two. Most of this response is just flaming calling someone stupid rather than actually discussing whatever matter the thread is about. EDers can be easy to troll if you use religion or emotion as a basis of your argument. No matter what your opinion someone will expect you to cite resources and post official statistics. Whether you post them or not you are always wrong no matter what your opinion is and you are always a moron.

General Discussion
OPs tend to vary. There is a lot of variety. Some threads are meant as mild trolling while others are "pic drops" where pictures of other users are posted and commented on. Threads discuss damn near anything.

The average user is about average or at least my take on average. GD used to be a haven for trolls where flame wars happened in practically every thread. Things have long since cooled off. There is still some creative flaming but nothing of what it used to be.

Chatterbox
Threads vary like in GD but most OPs are bump threads, role play threads, or just spam.

The average user is a dumbed down version of a GDer.

Life Issues
Life Issues OPs and responses are mostly just angsty teen kids that need to toughen up.
