I get a strong sense of totalitarianism around the Brady Campaign. On the day of the Sandy Hook shooting a lot of anti gun people flooded the NRAs official page on Facebook with anti gun talk. A lot of them blamed the NRA saying the blood is on their hands and all kinds of s**t. I went on the Brady page and argued with people calling them out on their arguments. My posts were deleted within seconds and I was blocked from the page.
Recently people have been posting fake advertisements with a rude message and putting the Brady logo on it. The official page made an announcement this morning in regards to the fake ads and a lot of Brady supporters are saying the people who made these ads should be sued.
I am a believer of the Constitution and of freedom. The Brady Campaign wants to ban guns so they're anti second amendment. The page blocking people who disagree with them and the fans wanting people sued over this trolling makes it pretty apparent to me they're also anti first amendment. Had someone done the same trolling using the NRA instead of Brady would the Brady supporters have supported the NRA lawsuit against the people responsible? If the roles were reversed I wouldn't support the message, but I would still support the right to such dickery because I believe in free speech.
I am not Democrat nor am I Republican. I don't stand for the flag of this nation or the people given authority. I stand for freedom, not just because the Constitution and the Bill of Rights say you have these freedoms, but because I believe people regardless of nationality deserve freedom. I do not suport mass murder, but I support the right to own the semi automatic weapons demonized by the media. I don't support the message of hate Westboro Baptist Church displays publicly, but I support their right to free speech. I don't support driving under the influence, but I believe in your right to be under the influence. I don't support gay marriage, but that just means I'm not going to marry a man because I don't have the right to tell gays they can't marry. I believe everyone has the right to decide how to live their lives. So many people want to restrict each others options of what they can or can not do. I support humanity and freedom.
