As I had towards 2016, I'd like to think back on 2015 and just recount everything that happened, experience wise.

I learned I can't trust people, because even someone I thought I knew my whole life could turn out to be a piece of s**t scumbag. I kind of knew that all along, but I guess I didn't want to believe.

I learned to not let my previous notions of things prevent me from trying new things. There are a handful of games I've ignored in the past and games I completely s**t on because I didn't think I'd like them; having actually sat down to try them, I fell in love. The same goes for food, and general life experiences: I'm constantly finding out that I enjoy things I never thought I would have.

I learned of a critical weakness I have. I don't know if it's because of the emotional significance of the game or not, but Neptune (the character) has this deep, unnerving power over me, in a way. I know I'll probably cringe at that sentence in the future, but what I mean by that is I'm more inclined to buy something simply because she's on it. I'll play a game because she's in it. I'm drawn to the character intrinsically, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm the target demographic for these kinds of games and the psychology is just working incredibly well against me, or if there's something more to it, but it's a bit frightening just how excited & happy I get from a single character.

There are more things I learned this year than I could possibly write here, but I wanted to list a few of them for myself, just as a reminder.

Chloe & myself have also started dating, this is a good thing, it's a happy, positive thing and it's something I'm glad to note as I head into the new year. Starting the year on a positive note is something happy, and I'm glad to be doing it. I hope that 2016 is a better year than 2014 & 2015 were. I really, really do.
