no matter how much i cried
you were always by my side
in the dark and in the light
always by my side
holding me tight
though it is hard to see
i know your there by me
under the sun or moonlight
shining day or night
hoping i'll be just fine
and never letting go
i see those faithful eyes
and i pray for all to be right
though all is wrong
all will soon be right
the glass is breaking
and your letting go
i pray you'll move on
and i shall as well
i know you love me
and i know you always will
but i can't promise the world
but my heart is what i have to offer
hoping you'll hold on forever
but forever is a long time
so until the day we die
i pray we'll be together
until the day we both die
holding on to one another
in each others arms
spreading love across the world
not giving pain but joy instead
so i leave you with these words
