Well you had to wait, but here's the second half of the story.

"Lost Akamaru (cont.)"

Now we had a situation on our hands. Kiba was livid. "Why would he just run off with Akamaru like that!? It makes no sense!" Kiba shouted. There was only one thing I could think of: helping Kiba find Akamaru. I knew that if Neji were to help that we would find him before long, but convincing him was another matter. So I took Neji to the side and discussed this with him. I offered to clean his shoes if he helped. Neji agreed.

A half hour we went through the woods looking for any sign of Shikimaru. Annoyed, I said "I thought you saw him in the woods with Byakugan, Neji. If you did, then we should have been able to find him already." And then there was a rustling in the bushes. Kiba pounced instantly. Shikimaru was in the bushes! But something wasn't right... his headband was on the wrong arm. Neji also noticed this. The imposter turned out to be none other than Naruto pulling a prank on us. But he wasn't so bad as to not help us. "Shikimaru was running towards his house. It looked like he had something in his arms. I didn't see since I only saw him run by." And with that, we were off. Kiba raced like a wildman (which was funny because thats what he looks like xd ) and the rest of us followed. when we reached Shikamaru's house, he was waiting with Akamaru. Shikamaru then explained. He had taken Akamaru to test exactly how smart a dog he was. The amazing part is that Akamaru had almost beaten Shikamaru in a game of shogi. Since that day Shikamaru and Akamaru have been seen having shogi matches in their spare time.
