Wow it's been a while since I did a story entry! Well now that I've had PLENTY of time to think, I should have no problem telling you the next part of the story!

"The Rescue"


Ace was having a dream. But it felt more like a vision than a dream. He saw a cave by a river, and the Demonyx were in the cave, guarding someone who was strangly familiar... The landscape was largly forests, but the area looked like where he was currently. When Ace woke up, he was back in the ship. It was night time, and nobody could be seen. Parts of the dream were still fresh in his mind, so he took off into the forest.

Without realizing it at first, Ace had passed up the cave that had appeared in his dreams. He turned back after a few minutes, and stopped in front of the cave. He was cautious of running into any guards as he went in. Ace was still a bit fearful of what had happened on the bridge. He just couldn't remember what had happened. Had he really taken someone's life? He couldn't bring himself to think that he could. But he remembered Amaru's kind words. Ace felt reassured as he headed further into the cave.

Soon Ace came across a gate. It held someone inside. Because it was so dark, Ace could not see who it was. All He quietly pulled out his sword and sliced away the bars in two quick slashes. The person was unconsious, possibly asleep. Ace lifted the person onto his shoulders and ran back to the ship, surprised at how easy it had been.

Upon reaching the ship, Ace could see who the person was. It was his best friend Finley! Seeing as how he was unconsious, Ace put down Finley on the couch and went to his room. Amaru was asleep in the bed again. Blushing, Ace got in the bed, not even bothering to remove his clothes. In the morning, Ed told Ace that He had to get back home to make sure that things were ok. So the ship headed back towards Ed's home. Not much time had passed when they got back. it had only been a day or so. Ace felt the need to explore the other planet some more, so he said that he would come back later to pick Ed up. Ed had given Ace at least a week to explore the other world. As Ace was heading back to the other planet, he thought how it was strange that they had stayed on the other planet for a week, and yet only a day had passed on Ed's world. He was in for a shock when he landed back on the other planet. Ace had landed near the village that he had been told about By Sakura. Upon entering, he was imediately questioned. "Who are you!? Where are you from!?" Inquired the ninja quards. Answering calmly, Ace told them what they wanted to know. He was then taken to the office of the Hokage. A woman who appeared to be no older than 30 was sitting at the desk. She was Tsunade, the 5th Hokage.

After Tsunade finished asking the same questions that the ninja guards had asked, one of the genin was given the task of watching him. the one given the task had blonde hair and an orange outfit. Ace was slightly surprised to see him. The boy took Ace to a ramen shop, and there they began talking. "My name's Naruto, and someday I'll be hokage, believe it!" Ace introduced himself, and then Naruto told Ace about what had happened while he was gone. For starters, Ace had been gone for a little under a year. The previous Hokage had been slain, the village had been attacked and Sasuke had gone to Orochimaru, who had orchestrated the attack on the village. Naruto had been training with Jiriya, and Sakura had been training with Tsunade.

If there was one other thing that Ace realized besides the different time periods between planets, it was that Naruto said "Believe it" far too much. He asked Naruto not to say it so much.


Between huge time lapses to mysterious unconsious friends, it seems a lot of interesting things are happening! Stay tuned for the next installment!
