AMAZING: The Visual Effects

This movie contained stunning visual effects, probably the best I've seen in a movie. EVER.

GREAT: Evanna Lynch

Played the role perfectly while still adding her own charm to it. Easly the best performance in the film alongside Michael Gambon as Dumbuldore and Maggie Smith as McGonagall.

GOOD: The Setting and Soundtrack

Were very different for this film but beyond expectation. The Ministry of Magic in particular was spectacular as well as the opening sets of privet drive.

BAD: I don't quite know what to call it, the flying? or the floating on sand...

I really think the visual effects team went overboard especially in the last scene. Since when do wizards possess the incredible ability to turn into sand and fly around without broom sticks? It seemed like every wizard was soaring in the last couple of scenes when this never occured in the books... Voldemort alone is supposed to have the ability to fly but all of the death eaters and even the OOTP where wooshing about every chance they could. They looked like a trapeeze troupe.

WORSE: Daniel Radcliff

Don't get me wrong, he's just not a very good actor. It was cute when he was 10.

WORST: Emo Potter

It seems like the writers of the movie decided to take out every line of harry's that didn't involve him being an attention craving emo wannabe. In the book, he wasn't totally miserable. Ok, yeah, he did have "character-building" moments that helped show some of his natural angst (he's the main character, he has to have some). But in the movie 90% of his lines had something to do with "No one understands me" or "I'm better off alone" or "I deserve the credit, I'm the hero!". It was horrible.

WTF?: Since when is the Gryffindor house a frat room?
