So I went to the first meeting of my school's anime club again and I see we have like 30 members this year. Thats a lot. As usual nobody was sitting down or being quiet so I said "HEY EVERYONE! It'd be really cool if we could all sit down and start." Then Beckey (the president) snapped : "You're not the president!"
Of course I'm not the ******** president! You never told me or Hayley that you were having the elections. NO ONE TOLD US. You just went ahead and elected yourself along with four completely immature and idiotic dumbasses to the board. And then, about thirty minutes into the meeting (we were STILL going over the rules) Kyle comes in.
I shot the "Oh ********" look at Hayley.
Of course, all the previous members were cheering and clapping (including the board of Narutards executive members, but seriously 2 out of the four of them were wearing the those embarrassing Atsuki coats. Note to self: tell Kevin to stop wearing that smelly ninja headband and stupid Atsuki coat to school EVERY ******** DAY. Everybody keeps making fun of ME for it. "Hey do you hang with that ninja-cult kid?" When is he going to get it in his head that I'm NEVER going to find Deathnote? And now he wants to borrow Kingdom Hearts 2 which is fine but you can buy it for like $5. (No joke, it's a greatest hit now)
And then to top it off, Writesh comes up to me after the meeting as asks me "No hard feelings, ok?".
Well you've got "hard feelings", ok Writesh?! If you think you can go behind my back and elect the whole Anime club executive board without telling me or Hayley, then just apologize and say "No hard feelings?", then think again. It'd be like if you stole my ipod and then apologized for it...
...but you didn't give it back. On top of that, almost the whole meeting was rules and planning for events that probably arn't going to happen, why? Because they're just not logical. We can't take 30 people into Sushi Zen, we just can't. A cosplay day would just be way to hectic. Even if we assume that some people would be interested, what would we do? all work on our costumes? You mean like we do at home? The only difference would be that we would have to bring in our stuff to school, we would waste a day of anime club, and the people that aren't interested won't have the club to go to. Oh and, "drawing day". Who's going to participate in that? I know, the FOUR people in anime club that are interested in drawing. A club event? I think not. The icing on the cake is that the whole entire executive board is made of narutards and Kyle worshipers.
But you know what the worst part is? I don't have the authority to do anything. Why? Because I'm not on the board. Why? Because I wasn't told that elections took place. So, in a sense, the situation might just be worse than last year (if that were at all possible). I swear, if I'm going to the club every Monday afterschool, I'm just humoring Beckey.
