A few days ago 2 friends of mine decided (for personal reasons that I won't disclose) that it might be time we went our separate ways. It did hurt and I was close to tears seeing as how I'd formed a very close bond with them over the past year and a half. But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe this decision was merely a ruse to gain some time away or maybe to fool someone they know. You're probably wondering what would make me think that, or that I'm just making up excuses with the false hope that we'll be friends again. But there are a few things that have given me this thought, and one of them is that I still appear to be in their friend lists on Gaia.

Although I'm not exactly able to go and look, PMs that I received from them in the past still have their names in bold, and their names would be normal if I had been removed. On top of that, one of my friends owns two guilds, both of which I joined, and I haven't been removed from them yet. I also own a guild, which they joined, but they haven't quit or asked to be removed (however it is that you remove vice captains). With all that evidence, I still can't help but think that there was something they didn't tell me. And no, I'm not gonna try to ask them about it (as nice as it would be to do so). I guess only time will tell what will happen in the future.
