When it comes to Winterguard.
I'm a newbie this year, and at my first practice, an alumni student-teacher told me "You'll get frustrated, but you'll get it - don't give up" so I haven't, and have so far, gotten everything - however, tonight, we added some more work to the end of a flag phrase that involves a lot of HARD ground-to-knee contact (hard as in, it's painful - not the difficulty level ...)
THAT'S the thing - it should be easy, but my knees are so just bad by nature that it's excrutiatingly painful for me to do the work. I wince through it all the time, when everyone else around me is nailing it after two or three tries. I was shaking, I was in pain and wanted to cry - it sucked, really bad. My instructors seemed disgusted or dissapointed - I couldn't make out which one it was ...
*sighs* It's a whole new world, and I'm catching on, but with my fingertips - hardly my whole hand, with confidence, yet ...

Lalala, 'alo there.
I probably won't write here much.
But if I do it's probably pointless.
But waste your time at will.
