Personality: Niami is sarcastic and cynical, but good-natured usually. She doesn't snap much, or even get anger, but is amused by people's stupidity and futile attempts at things. At best, she's a pessimist.
Biography: Niami was the daughter of a scientist in the 1900s. She was ignored by her father, but she was fascinated with his work. Her mother forbid her to touch his things, but Niami was a determined child. She was fourteen when she got into his lab and accidentally opened up a tube containing a thick black smoke. She died after twenty minutes of suffocation. She awoke in the Spirit World, not knowing anything but her name. She remembered her name. She grew up in the Spirit World, wandering for a few years before she ran into Seireitei. A squad member came near her, and began coughing, chocking on some invisible smoke. Niami was quickly taken into the Shinigami Academy and passed with flying colors, one of the youngest to make it through and rose up to Lieutenant of the 12th Squad by the time she was eighty three.
