Kash had a fairly easy time getting through Izzlun. The war, no matter how grave and dissapointing, was the perfect disguise. The cloak and a trim of his hair helped greatly as well. His face seemed quite different if one didn't notice his eyes.
Reachign the border though was no easy task. This inviolved avoiding raging battles and patrols. On several instances, Kash nearly got killed. Fortunately, the soldiers had left their arrow sback at the Barracks, and retreated.
The only real problem that presented itslf was the bandits. It had been a week since Kash began his travels, and he was entering a small patch of forest. This is when several men surrounded him from the trees, draws sabers, bows, and lances.
"Give us all yer loot, kind sir, and we'll spare you your life!" The largest of the thieves stepped before Kash wielding a simple Greatsword, most like stripped from an elite soldier. Kash smirked beneath his hood and allowed a chuckle to slip out.
"Eh!? Think this is funny?! Well...Then you die!" The man lifted the Greatsword, with little difficulty, and swung at Kash. The Wolf Demon, having heightened speed, quickly jumped into the air, landing a kick into the man's face. This sent him sprawling, Greatsword released from his hand only to meet with the gut of a bowman, who fell to the ground dead.
The remaining Bandits charged Kash, which drew his twin Tsurugi's. Ducking as the first blow came at him, he shot his leg out, kicking into the man's shin and shattering it. One Tsurugi thrust forward into the gut of a charging man, while the other sank into the side of a man behind him.
Removing the weapons form their target's bellies, he stood, as the remaining bandits fled. The leader, which was cowering on the ground with a brokena nd bloody nose, attempted to stand, but Kash's foot slammed into his chest.
"You've made a grave mistake, delaying my journeys..."
"Please! Sir! Spare us! We meant no harm! Oh, Kaplaa help m--" As the final word began to materialize, the blade wielded by Kash sliced through the man's throat. The sound of a trumpet could be heard from the distance, symbolizing the approach of Cavalry. Kash sheathed the Tsurugi's. He'd have to clean them later. Thus, he began his long sprint for the border, a near five mile run...
