Ok, now that I know where I'm going with my fan fic, let's get started with the story. Just so nobody get's confused, I'll say this: My story will go through many different animes, probably through ones that not many people have heard of. So if you read this and go "what's he talking about?" Just know that it's from an anime, and from parts of my imagination.

"The First Encounter"

After Ace stepped into the portal, he was tossed in every direction. Eventually it became too much and he passed out. When he awoke, He was in an unfamiliar city. It was also very cold. Then Ace looked around. Nothing looked strange, exept maybe the guards in black and blue coats by the sturdy iron gate. Then Ace noticed a young boy with blonde hair and an armored man walking towards him. When the boy got to him he said "hey you, I don't think it's very smart to walk around without a shirt in the middle of winter." Ace then realized that he had been shirtless when he went outside and spoke with the spirit. "Do you think you could lend me a shirt or something, because this is all I have. I'm new here."

After the boy and the armored man talked it over, they led Ace to where they were staying. Ace had been surprised by how young the armored man sounded. He sounded even younger than the boy! The boy then supplied Ace with a full set of clothes. The only problem was that they were too small. Ace mentioned this, and the boy clapped his hands together, and then touched the clothes. There were sparks, and then nothing. When Ace went to try the clothes a second time, they fit fine. "How did you do that?" Ace asked. the boy then responded, "It's alchemy. As long as I have the same materials, I can make things bigger, smaller, wider, and the rest. I haven't introduced myself yet have I? I'm Edward Elric, the full metal alchemist, and he's Alphonse, my younger brother."

Ace then introduced himself and told Ed about how he came to be in this place. And not long after finishing this explanation, there was screams coming from outside. The three of them immediatly rushed outside to see demons running amok. from out of nowhere, one lept at Ace. Almost instinctively, he reached behind his back, and pulled a large sword from out of nowhere. he sliced the demon in two, and it became like smoke, wispy and dissapating. He then proceeded to cut down more of the demons, as Ed used his alchemy to use surrounding items to his advantage. Ed then transmuted a lance from the ground, and fought with it. One demon bit into his right arm, but he did not wince for a second. He simply used the lance to stab it in the head, turning it into smoke. Al was simply crushing the demons as they came at him. one knocked off his helmet, revealing nothing where his head should be. But Al appeared fine as he continued to smash demons. Then came one paticular demon. He was red as opposed to black. He had ram's horns and flowing purple hair. He stood calmly. Then he spoke. "You may have beaten us here, but the Demonyx shall rule! Hail Negative Zero!" And then he jumped into a portal.

Ace wanted to go after him, but fighting had made him tired. Too many questions needed answering. Who is Negative Zero? Where was Ace? Why had his friends been taken? Ace knew none of this, but he put the questions aside as he helped his new comrades. Ace was surprised when he saw Al looking for his helmet. He happened to fall over, and Ace could clearly see that nobody was inside. And when Ace got close to Ed, he saw the gleam of metal under the tatters of his right sleeve. Ed soon explained that they had become that way due to an expiriment gone wrong. Ace had no problems with this, and they began to head back to the room. But then the ground shook and collapsed under their feet. Ace lost consiousness as he fell into the abyss.
