Ok, this is the next chapter of my story. To recap, Ace met Edward Elric and his bro, Alphonse. They get to talking, and then they have to fight the demonyx, a group trying to control the universe. after fighting, the ground collapses, and Ace blacks out. Now to Continue the story!

"Let's Go Into Space"

When Ace awoke, he was surprised at what he saw. There was a large spaceship that looked like a large bird. Some of the plating was damaged, but the exterior looked pretty well kept. There was no point not checking it out, since there was nowhere else to go. So Ace went to look around the ship, and found an open hatch. He went in and discovered that Ed and Al were inside. They were trying to figure out what the ship was (since they never saw a starship and couldn't identify one in a lineup if they tried).Ace ignored their conversation and went to the control panel. he touched a random screen and the ship activated. Then Ace suddenly heard the spirit talking to him. "This is my starship, Griffon. I abandoned it many years ago after I had dealt with the evil of the universe. But I did not finish off the evil, it seems. Use this ship to travel the universe, and save your friends. You must defeat the evil to rescue them." And the spirit stopped talking.

After talking with Ed, He used his alchemy to fuse new metal plates on the breached parts of the ship. Ed also agreed to traveling with Ace to rescue his friends. Ace then helped Ed with his belongings to put them on the ship. While onboard and some time before they took off, Ace sat down and read a few of the books on Alchemy that Ed had. He saw all of the different types of transmutation circles that there were and what they did. Ace then decided he would transmute something. So he took a small piece of scrap metal and tried to transmute it the way Ed did. So he clapped his hands together, and touched them to the piece of metal. he was able to transmute it into a small dagger. when he told this to Ed, Ed was surprised because Ed could only transmute things the way he could because he had lost his arm and leg in the accident. So Ed asked Ace if he had ever done alchemy before or if he was in an accident too. "No, the only thing that happened to me before I got here was being possesed by a spirit and going through a portal." After that Ed left the subject alone and they took off into space.

Not knowing where they were going, they just flew through the empty space. Eventually they came upon another space ship. It was much larger than the one thy were flying (and theirs was pretty big). Just then they were caught in a tractor beam and pulled inside.

Wasting no time, Ace, Ed, and Al left the ship and began fighting with those aboard the ship. They were the demonyx. they continued fighting until they found a control room with surveilance cameras. There was one screen that caught Ace's eye, and that was the camera to the holding cell. In the holding cell was one of Ace's friends, Amaru. Ace secretly loved Amaru, but now wasn't the time to be lovey dovey. Ace then made his way to the holding cell, slashing and hacking through hordes of demonyx as he went. There was one paticularly large demonyx waiting in the holding cell. Without thinking, Ace whipped the sword at it. The sword went whirling towards it, shearing it in half, as the sword came spinning back to Ace (this technique will later be known as the whirlwind blade).
