Chapter Twenty-One
Mandy was walking down the hallway of the hotel, waiting for the Chemical and Aiden Family weddings to start. Jake D., Nick, and Angel were spying on the unsuspecting girl. “She’s alone!” Nick hissed. “Now’s your chance!” “But she’ll never say yes!” whispered Jake forlornly. “Oh God, Jake, give it a rest!” groaned Angel and him and Nick pushed Jake out into the hallway with Mandy. “Oh, Jake! Hi! You startled me!” said Mandy, beginning to blush. Jake was frozen in shock and fear. He couldn’t make the words come out of his mouth, no matter how hard he tried. “Jake, what’s wrong?” Mandy asked confused. “MANDYWILLYOUMARRYME?!” He shouted, the words jumbling and mixing together. Mandy stared at Jake in shock. “Did you just ask me to marry you?” she asked him. Jake nodded and looked down, his face completely red. She ran over to him and kissed him on the cheek. “Of course I’ll marry you my love!” She said, smiling. Jake couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “You will? Really?” he whispered. She nodded. Angel and Nick high-fived each other as the newly engaged couple began to kiss.

“That was the best soda I’ve ever had!” said Bill to Carla, in German. “Of course, it was probably because of the company I got to have it in,” he said, smiling at the girl. The two of them were holding hands as they walked back to the hotel Carla was staying at. “Bill, would you like to come to the weddings with me?” Carla asked, a blush spreading across her face. Bill thought about it for a second and then a huge grin spread across his face. “I would love to come to the weddings with you. But why don’t we have a wedding of our own?” Carla gasped. “Are you serious?! We’ve just met!” “Are you saying no?” “No, I’m not saying anything like that. But isn’t it a bit soon?” Bill shrugged. “Love is love. I’ve never felt this sure of anything in my life. Besides, how can it be soon? We don’t have much time left. It’s now or never. I think we should get married.” “Then let’s get married!” smiled Carla. The two of them began to kiss.

All of a sudden, they had gotten rather old-fashioned. “Hmm…well, we’re borrowing these clothes and this wedding ring of mine is new,” she offered. Troy nodded. “That’s true. Something old, something old…” He thought. “OH! These boxers I’m wearing, they’re old,” he said, grinning. “TROY!” “What? You wanted something old!” “Yeah but that’s just kind of gross.” “Oh well, you’re the one who agreed to marry me,” the merchguy shrugged. Sami smiled, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. “You got me there.” “Yes, I did. Hee hee, I win,” Troy giggled, a sweet little grin on his face. Sami couldn’t help but smile as she looked into his eyes. “That’s it! Something blue! Your eyes are blue! We did it! We have everything! Now let’s go get married!”
