Chapter Twenty eek [TWENTY CHAPTERS?! HOLY GEESUS!]
Carla walked through Las Vegas, holding up her dress in front of her with her hands. The sun was about to set. She smiled; although the world was ending, so many wonderful things had been happening. She had met The Aiden Family, the most amazing people in the world. She had gotten to spend the last couple of days hanging out with Aiden and recently, she was able to meet her heroes in My Chemical Romance. Not only that but she was invited to three different weddings; Mikey and Alicia’s, Frank and Jamia’s, and [probably her favorite] Sami and Troy’s. Life seemed peaceful, blissful, and perfect. She sat outside, the air warm and inviting. Sitting on the edge of a huge fountain, she swirled the water with her fingers. Suddenly, she felt something smack the side of her head and plop into the fountain. Reaching in, she took it out. It was a coin but not just any coin; it was a Euro. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” She could hear a familiar voice shouting at her in an even more familiar accent. A boy with huge spiked up black hair came running over. He was wearing a suit and his eyes were rimmed with eyeliner. Carla’s eyes couldn’t believe who they were seeing. It was Bill Kaulitz, the frontman of Tokio Hotel. Bill stared at the girl, who was holding his Euro in her hand. He said in his native language “You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.” Unbeknownst to him, Carla could speak his language fluently. She blushed and he blushed, realizing she understood what he said. “You speak German?” He said. She nodded. “Gutentag, Bill.” “You know who I am?” He exclaimed in German, The rest of their conversation would be in their shared tongue. “Of course! You’re the singer of Tokio Hotel! I love your band!” Carla wished she could take that back because it sounded like she was fangirling but he only laughed. “That’s cool. Not many people here know about our band. I mean, we’re still going to play The Last Concert on Earth and everything but…say…are you going to that?” Carla nodded. “Yes! I’ve been traveling with Aiden.” “Aiden? I love that band! They’re very talented and very nice.” By this time, Bill was sitting next to Carla, edging closer to her with each word. He gently put his hand on hers. She looked down at it and blushed. All of a sudden, he leaned over and gently kissed her. When he pulled away from her lips, he smiled. “Would you like to go get some soda or some coffee or just something to drink?” He offered. He was nervous. Carla’s stomach felt like it was full of butterflies. She nodded. Gingerly taking her hand, the two Germans stood up and walked into the nearby hotel, looking for something to drink.

wiL was looking everywhere for Claire. He opened his cellphone and frantically called Gerard. “Gee, is Claire up there with you?!” He shouted, paranoia seeping into his voice. “No, she’s not. I think she went to your room.” wiL could hear the phone shifting hands. “Hey, wiL? This is Chels. Claire did go back to your room. She said she was tired and needed to take a nap before Mikey and Alicia’s wedding.” “Thanks Chels.” “No problem.” wiL snapped his cellphone shut and ran up the stairs to the fifth floor, barely stopping to catch his breath. He slipped his key card into the door and opened it. Claire was sleeping on top of the bed, wearing a beautiful black ball gown. Her pale skin seemed to glow in the dim hotel room light. She looked like Sleeping Beauty. wiL stared at her splendor for a few moments, his mouth slightly open in awe of how gorgeous she was before he slid onto the bed next to her. He gently kissed her lips. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled. “Hello, wiL. I’m sorry, but I had to get some sleep. It’s been kind of a long day.” “Don’t’ be sorry. It’s fine.” “Did you hear that Troy and Sami are getting married tonight? How sweet is that?” She said. wiL didn’t know if she would find marrying him sweet but he had to ask her; it was now or never. “Claire, I have something to ask you. But I’m…I’m kind of afraid of asking it.” She gently touched his face with her hand. “wiL, you should know by now that you can ask me anything.” “You have to promise to answer honestly, okay?” “I would never lie to you.” The sincerity in her eyes made him want to melt. He pulled out the ring box in his pocket and placed it in her hands. She gasped as she opened it. He leaned over and whispered, “Will you marry me, Claire?” “Oh my goodness,” she whispered, barely audible. She took the ring out of the box and put it on her finger, examining it. Then she looked at him and she said the words he wanted to hear. “wiL Francis, I would love to marry you.” He kissed her again.
