Aizawa Yuuichi plays the lead male role in this series of only 24 episodes. With it's origins stemming from the hentai game of the same name, (I swear, it's not how I choose my series') it's surprising how beautiful the story is. After returning to a town he hasn't visited for 7 years, Yuuichi (having lost his memory of the last time he was there) re-introduces himself to many of his old friends. All of which are female. The episodes focus on the subtle changes in our lives and the importance of our memorys and our bonds.
I will not spoil the plot any more than this; namely, that it could bring a tear to a demons eye. When I say it's written by the coldest heart, it is not for lack of emotion in the tale. Rather, it's because the series almost overflows with emotion. I honestly couldn't watch it in the morning because I would be all wimpy during the day.
The scores:
Art: 10/10. Everything is colored flawlessly, there is little to no visible indiscretions in the drawing and all motions are smooth.
Music: 10/10. With the song 'Kanon' (by Pachebel) playing in the background and referencing the story, it's difficult not to rate it perfectly.
Storyline: 10/10. This one should be obvious enough.
A perfect score. This is one of, if not the, greatest anime I have ever seen. I highly recommend it.
