I didn't move, i didn't twitch, i only stood there standing, wondering if what my eyes perceived was real. Then he released a laugh with his voice crackling and he quickly raised his hand. All of a sudden my mind felt as a blackboard being carved with a nail, and he was the nail. While laughing he said " AHHHHH RICHARD YOU'RE TO WEAK AND SYMPATHETIC, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COLD BLOODED KILLER I KNEW?! YOUR MIND MAY HAVE GROWN BUT YOUR BODY AS WITHERED." I fell to my knees covering my head from the piercing pain surging through my body. He continued to speak "ahhh Richard, you think that i was actually TRYING? o no boy, you merely scratched the surface." I was covering my ears which started bleeding yelling "THIS ISN'T HAPPENING, I KILLED YOU I MADE SURE OF IT." He started laughing that crackling laugh " Now that you bring it up Richard, i never got to return the favor, that and I'm on a mission of my own...." He walked up to me and leaned down " You are a rare specimen Richard, you can withstand as much pain as a space marine, your as ruthless as a ork, your as cunning as a eldar...." he stopped and proceeded to whisper in my ear "and as mad as a chaos marine." I started to stand up driven by anger and i reached for my pocket knife. He made the pain even more acute and i fell back on my knees. "Now you see Richard, i was blessed with powers unimaginable, but theres something i lack, and i will gain what i need if i complete my mission, and that mission is to either, bring you back by force, or to convert you." He made the pain even more acute. "and i prefer the painful way"
He then put one hand to his head, and looked at me smiling, all of a sudden everything turned black...I felt as if my soul had left my body...All of a sudden I was in the abyss of what would seem like hell.... I heard screams and saw people getting ripped limb from limb. Children, women, innocents, none were spared in this massive slaughter.... i saw my old platoon, getting hacked pieces to pieces..... I closed my eyes and yelled "IMMORTAL EMPEROR SHIELD ME FROM THIS." I heard a voice appear from thin-air saying " Its pointless, only I can hear your prayers in here, and I'm afraid i will not answer them. our fates have all been written in the warp since the dawn of time, it has been written i would convert, it has been written the fate of the galaxy, it has been written....that you will join us." He appeared right in front of me and at that moments chains flew up from the ground and rapped my arms and legs. The chains started melting through my skin like acid. I screamed in pain. "I know you better then any Richard, you are just like any person in this world. You want power, power that chaos can grant. I yelled out "THE EMPEROR IS MY POWER HERETIC." He started to chuckle again "You actually believe what that rotting corpse tells you? no, he is a false emperor a weakling who still feels the sting of mortality. isn't it interesting how if a chaos artifact is found one is supposed to document about it and send the information to the chapel, and there they will burn it for no one to ever find out? It is because they are afraid, they know what power chaos has, and they tremble at the very WAKE of its steps. You know this war will never end, you know that day by day the forces of man start to die while the warp only grows stronger. You have no choice and i will squeeze every ounce of imperial loyalty and sanity you have and i will enjoy every waking moment of pain i will ensue upon you."
Just then i heard a voice cry out "RICHARD" and then everything around me shattered and fell like glass pieces. I felt.... stronger.... i felt as if something had surged through me... I woke up to find Truvsen on 1 knee and i looked to the left and saw Gebbet. "Gebbet....run....we'll all die if we stay..." i pleaded. Gebbet then back handed me with his pistol and said "Look at yourself Richard, are you to yield the likes of this heretic?, I'm ashamed to call you my commander!, so now I'm guessing the psyker died in vain saving your life?" I looked to the left of me and saw a psyker, who was shriveled on the floor as if his life had been sapped. "He put all his power into bringing you out of that comma, and what was it for? for a commander who can't even stand and face his own fears." Gebet walked towards Truvsen and said "I will be your opponent you foul heretic b*****d." and then Gebet proceeded to get into a fencing stance. "heheheh, i sopppose i could have some fun" chuckled truvsen. Gebet rushed at Truvsen showing impressive sword play....sadly.... it was not enough. Truvsen grabbed his sword and shot a chaos bolt with his staff into Gebets stomach. He then threw Gebet to the ground and mocked him saying. "hmmm, you talked very highly for someone who can't reinforce his words...." Truvsen lifted his sword above Gebet and said "Farewell, Imperial dog."
