It's an upDATE!!
lol, i love puns... like i said, for all of my viewers (cuz i know your out there, i have a journal archive ya know -.-) if you read it and think its funny, and even if your a random person, and ESPECAILLY if your a friend, leave a comment! i love reading them, and chances are, ill respond. i promise im not a stuffed pigeon. XD

Finally, it was the big day....
"ARGH!" luna yelled, throwing her clothes across the once neat room she shared with Alteara. "who knew it was this hard to pick CLOTHING!? I mean really, i never thought i would be so picky about what i was wearing just to go see a movie!!"
"but its NOT just a movie!" lenalee said as she pulled a pair of jeans that were flung at her from her hair.She was already dressed in a white sweater shirt with 3/4 sleeves and a short black skirt. "were going with the guys. This is totally a date."
"DATE??" Alteara's head popped out from her closet where she too was trying to find something to wear, though not as dramatically. "no one said anything about a ... a... date" she hissed the word as if it would come out and bite her.
"it's not a date." luna droned. Alteara sighed, then moved back into her closet just as luna flashed lenalee a panicked look, then slashed a hand in the air by her throat, sending a 'exnay on the ateday' look at lenalee. The girl sighed and put a hand to her forehead. The two jumped at a sudden knock on the door.
"hey girls! you ready yet?"
"its lavi." lenalee said quietly. Luna moved to answer the door.
"luna!" lenalee snatched the girls arm. "pants..."
Lavi stared at the door as he heard a horrible banging sound that sounded suspiciously like someone dying of embarassment.
"they're still getting ready." he said to an awaiting kanda and allen.

"FINALLY!" luna grinned at herself in the mirror. She managed to find something she liked, and was now fixing any small details she came across. Her red hair was separated into the sides, which were pulled back with a white flower clip over the loose back. She wore a boat neck light sweater that was stripped black and white, along with red capries and 2 black belts that criss crossed over her waist. She has flat shoes on that were black with white studds and a little black clip. Alteara had managed to find her favorite red skirt, that went just abover her knees and flowed in several layers glittering with gold patterns of flowers and birds. Her shirt was a black t-shirt with a false gold japanese fastener pattern down the front. Her golden hair was pulled up in a bun, ties with two black chopsticks and several red and gold flowers and beads.
Luna sighed. "i dont know how you can do that to your hair. Im lucky if i can get mine into a ponytail..."
"you did that just fine." lenalee commented, pointing at luna's hair.
"no..." luna sighed again "Alteara did it while you wernt watching..."
Alteara laughed nervously as lenalee deadpanned.
"so i guess we should get out there...." Alteara said quietly.
"i guess..." luna shrugged, her gold and red bangles jingleing from her wrists.
"girls sure do take forever..." lavi sighed, leaning on a collumn. He had on a dark red dress shirt with the first few buttons undone and the cuffs hanging open. His shirt was tucked into black pants, with a few silver chains hangging off and the customary boots on his feet. His hair was pulled back lightly, gelled to keep it from frizzing, and his bandana was black. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair to make sure it was back. Allen was standing next to him, fidgeting nervously. He had on a white dress shirt, the one he normally wore, and black pants. His hair still hung in silver strands around his face. "che." kanda smirked. "if you're so impatient, why dont you go in and get them?"
Kanda was leaning against the wall on the opposite side of the corridor, a black dress t-shirt revealing his muscly arms. The shirt had red lining, and a small red tribal design around the neck and bottom. He wore black pants as usual, and his hair was pulled back into his usual ponytail. There, on his waist, was his ever present mugen, held by a black belt.
"i'd like to stay alive to see the movie thanks." lavi grinned.
Just as Kanda was about to reply, the door came open and all three girls walked out. The three guys stared, and in lavi and allens case, tried desperatly to pick their chins of the floor.
Kanda was first to make a move, moving over to Alteara's side. He took the blushing girls hand gently in his, and pulled it to his lips.
"you look wonderful." he said softly, kissing her hand. Luna giggled, watching the smoke rise from Alteara's ears. The other two boys glared.
"there is no way kanda is being mr. perfect tonight." lave whispered harshly, Allen nodding with him before both moved to their respective girls.
"lookin' hot." lavi grinned as luna grinned back.
"you know it." she snapped.
"y-y-you l-look n-n-n-nice today lenalee..." allen said quietly.
"thanks!" she beamed.
"s-so what movie are we seeing..." alteara said quietly, blushing like mad and twisting her hands together.
"dunno..." luna sighed. She turned to lavi. "i figured i'd see when we got there."
He nodded and so did the others. They all marched off to the elevator leading to the underground canals, and boarded the boats in pairs. Lavi decided half way there that he wanted to recreate the scenes of venice.

Luna giggled like mad as lavi stood and began to 'gondola' the boat, singing at the top of his lungs.
"aaaaannnnnddddd....
i really dont know how the rest of it goes..." he looked down at luna with a confused face. She cocked her head in return.
"... me neither..."
"same here." lenalee called from another boat. "those are the only lines ive ever heard..."
"well lets all sing one we do know!" alteara grinned widly as kanda sighed.
"which one..." he moaned.
they all sat in silence for a moment until someone began to hum.
"hmmm hmmm hmmm mm m hmmm hm hmmm hm hmmmmmm"
Lavi's face split into a grin.
"merrily merrily merrily merrily..."
Lenalee and Alteara joined in.
"life is but a dream!"
then mass pandimonium and rounding occured.
"row row row your boat, gently down the stream!
Merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream!"
10 rounds later
The little 'gondolas' as they were now affectionatly dubbed, bumped into the stone dock of the small town. Apparently, a festival was happening, because the streets were lined with vendors and people were bustleing about in strange clothing, a few carrying masks.
"well what do we have here?" lavi grinned. "looks like theres a party just for us!"
The others grinned wildly.
"so where are we going for dinner?" Alteara pipped up. "im starved!"
"we just got here!" lenalee whined. "lets look around a bit!"
the group split off into pairs, looking at all of the little booths and merchandice.
"Hey lenalee!" allen cried "check it out!" He held up a small glass object that looked like a model of a golem.
"how strange!" she awed. "how much is it?"
Alteara was looking around the crowd. Kanda had managed to wander off, and, being on her own, Alteara managed to loose track of the others. She heard her name called and wheeled around to see kanda waving to her from over the crowd. She sighed in releif, then wandered over, only to be met by Lavi. Kanda caught up with the two.
"Ne, Alteara-chan, can you help me with something?" lavi begged, tugging at her sleeve like a little kid.
"wheres luna..." she looked around confused.
"what do you want baka usagi." kanda snapped. Lavi noticed the small bag slightly hidden in his hands and flashed a pleading gesture to kanda.
"i only need her help for a second!" he whined before dragging her away from the sighing samurai.
"che."
"so what do you need help with lavi?" Alteara asked, finally catching her bearings.
"its over here." he pointed to a small booth, slightly out of the way. The table was decorated in golds and violets, and across the top was a display of tiny crystal animals.
"look." he pointed. "which one do you think she would like?"
"how 'bout this one!" Alteara hefted a large glass octopus into the air, grinning like mad.
Lavi deadpanned. "i was thinking something more... elegant?"
"oh." alteara said, plopping the octopus back on the table, much to the panic of the sales man.
"What do you think of this?" lavi held up a small crystal fox, that was sitting, and seemed to be tinted a purple color.
"oh, she'll love it...." Alteara awed. "really, you have to get that one."
"really?" lavi grinned. "thats great! Thats all i needed from ya, so you can head back to yuu before he tries to kill me."
Alteara giggled, then left.
"so buddy..." lavi turned to the sales man. "how much?"

The gang regrouped outside of a classy restaurant called "le pomme".
"lets eat here!" lenalee cheered.
"i dunno..." luna sighed. "something about this place seems familiar... and i dont mean in a good way..."
"aw come on~" Alteara begged, and luna quickly gave up.
They entered, ordering a table for six and were seated without problem.
"how nice!" Lenalee sighed, as they all looked around. It was rather fancy, with red hues all around and crystal chandeliers.
Luna shivered. "something feels wrong here..."
"oh lighten up!" Alteara giggled, "i dont feel anything. Do you guys?"
the other all shook their heads no.
Luna sighed. "well, i guess its okay..."
A few moments later, a nice lady in red came over to their table, holding menu's and a bubbly demeanor.
"hello everyone!" her smile seemed to stretch off her face. "my name is trisha, but you'll be served by sven tonight~"
"oh?" allen asked, cocking his head.
"yup!" the girl bubbled. "he'll be over in just a tic, so please look at the menus while you wait!" She handed them out and then bubbled away.
"oooh, look at all the good food luna!" lavi grinned. He turned to the girl to see her rigid and pale. "luna?"
"sven..?" she mumbled. The others moved in to hear.
"whats wrong?" kanda asked, looking around sharply.
"did she say... sven...?" luna stared blankly at the table.
"uh... i think so.." lenalee gave the girl a questioning look. Luna stood in place, practically knocking over the table and tried to walk right over lavi.
"excusemeineedtoleave" she mumbled, trying to escape.
"HEY!" alteara whined. "come back!" luna stopped in place, turning to her friends with a blank stare.
"eh... um... why dont we just sit down..." lavi grabbed luna's shoulders and guided her back to the booth. "and we'll have a nice dinner, and then everything will be okay..."
He plopped luna back into her seat, which bounced lightly, and then sat down next to her, trying to keep her in place. She stared down at the menu, then seemed to twitch.
"your right." she said a little too forcefully. "i mean it was a LOONG time ago... before i even met alteara... so it cant be the same sven i mean thats just OHMYBEJESUSITSHIM!" she screamed the last part, pointing at their waiter who had finally approached the table.
He was a short man with curly blond hair and fair skin, obviously from his foreign homeland. He wore a red t-shirt with light blue overalls, and smiled lopsidedly.
"ALLO!" he called as he walked toward the table. His obnoxiously loud voice carried a thick accent of who-knows-what language.
Luna stood again, practically tipping the table and knocking over various objects as she was held down by lavi and alteara.
"no, no im leaving!" she cried, "PLEEEEAAASSEE.... dont make me stay here!"
"what is wrong?" alteara cried. "please, i just want to eat dinner... common luna!"
luna turned to her friend, her face almost desperate, but alteara had pulled out her dreaded puppy eyes...
"... well... " she looked back at sven, who was still grinning. "nope. see ya-"
"sit." Alteara commanded. Luna's butt seemed to become magnatized to the seat as she snapped back in place.
"oh... your going to get it for this..." luna growled darkly as Alteara grinned in triumph.
"SOOOO? 'ave ve ze making of ze choices ya?" Sven practically giggled.
"i choose euthinasia." luna muttered, causing lavi to choke on his drink.
"ve are not in ze 'aving of ze... eustinstata..." Sven creased his brows at the long word, then grinned again. "you are liking ze candy?"
Luna slammed her forehead straight down into the table.
"um... no..." lenalee coughed politly, trying to hide her akward laughter. "um... i think we'll need a few minuets to decide..."
"AH!" sven grinned. "okay, candy for ze nice lady..."
"um.. no" lenalee tried again. "can we have some time to look at the menus?"
"... you no like ze candy." sven glared harshly at the girl.
"look." kanda snapped. "just bug off."
Sven cocked his head at him confused. "ve no serving ze 'bug off"
Kanda glared.
"LEAVE!" he snapped.
"you vant be eating ze leaves, okay, but you very strange..."
Kanda's face turned completly read, and his hand twitched at mugen's hilt, but lavi stepped in.
"ill have some candy..."
the others deadpanned.
Luna lifted her head to look at him, and he grinned sheepishly at her as she gently moved her hand to the back of his head. then she slammed it down onto the table.
"GRAGPHE!" Lavi shouted into the table, hands rising to protect his head.
"ve no be 'aving of ze candy." luna glared. " ve be needing of ze minutes."
Sven grinned, nodded, then walked away. The others stared in awe.
"how... in the heck..." allen gapped.
"what was with him?!" kanda snapped. "is he mental or something?"
"you could say that..." luna said darkly.
"we had better get out of here..." lenalee went to stand, but saw sven staring at her from around the corner. She slowly began to sit again, as the closer she got to the chair, the further around the corner he dissapeard. She stood again and he reappeard.
"sit down!" luna hissed. "do you want him to come over here?!"
"oh god, were trapped..." allen moaned.
"this is ridiculous." kanda snapped.
"aw come'on," alteara whined. "its not that bad! Plus, luna can translate."
"yeah, how did you do dat?" lavi asked, holding his thobbing nose.
She turned and glared at him. "do you have ANY idea how long i was STUCK at one of these STUPID booths until i could get him to understand that he was RETARDED?!"
"how long?" Alteara asked, totally missing the rhetorical question.
Luna snapped around to her. "3 weeks." she hissed. "i had to survive off candy and packets of artificial sweetener..." She shuddered and pushed the small tray of sweeteners farther away from her.
"so what do we do?" Allen asked, looking around nervously.
"just pick what you want, and ill translate i guess. but you guys OWE ME YOUR SOULS."
"..."
"alright just buy me popcorn at the movie."
"i can do that." lavi grinned, wrapping his arm around the girls waist.
"just pick." she snapped, shoving the menu into his face with a 'whump'.
"so harsh..." he teased.
The table was quiet while everyone picked their meal. Then they all sat akwardly when they had decided.
"now what?" allen asked quietly, looking around for sven.
"lets see..." luna put a hand to her chin. "ah, i remember." She stood straight up and coughed loudly.
"magenta!" sven cried as he popped out from under the table.
The group stared with wide eyes, and lenalee leaned to look under the table as luna sat back down.
"we are ready." luna said quietly.
"you be vanting of ze candy?" sven grinned widly.
"ie. ve be vanting of ze..." she turned to see what lavi and the others had all chosen. "six goats and zeven of ze finest rocks you can be grinding into foam."
"ah! you is 'aving of ze wonderful taste madame!" sven cooed. The others blanched. "i vill be of ze returning vith your proposal of ze marriage." and he walked away backard, waving his arms in a wave motion.
Sweatmarks all around.
"marriage proposal?" lavi cried.
Luna scratched her head. "maybe it was four goats a rock and general cross?"
"heh?!" allen cried, looking ready to faint. "my master... is... "
"not here dont worry." lenalee cooed.
Luna looked away with a strange grin. "actually..."
*random scene change*
"I DONT WANT NO FRIGGEN CANDY!" cross bellowed at the oblivious sven. He pulled out his judgment and aimed it at sven's head, firing. The bullet flew with an immense bang, then bounced of svens head.
"you sure being of ze strange one mr..." sven giggled before wandering away.
*random scene return*
"HOW LONG HAS HE BEEN HERE!" Allen cried, ducking into the booth.
"maybe a year... maybe two..." luna sighed, running a finger around the rim of her water glass. "dunno. i make it a point to stay AWAY from this place."
"i guess your point was kinda dull then." kanda snapped.
Luna turned at shot him a nasty look but stopped when sven returned.
"allo zere miss!" he cheered. "i am of ze bringing of ze wedding certificate!" he grinned, then handed luna a large silver platter with a domed lid. Then he walked off.
"what do you think is in it?" lavi asked. he picked up his fork and thwacked it against the lid with a clang. The silver platter released a horrible growl and suddered.
"... you know i dont think we should open it." he said, replacing his silverware to the table.
"good job!" lenalee cried. "now its angry!"
"you guys are whimps." luna sighed.
"that silverware just GROWLED!" alteara cried, pointing at it. "why arent you afraid!?"
Luna's face darkened as horns sprouted from her head.
"the last time i was here..." she laughed darkly "he gave me a porcupine for a hand towel...kukuku... this is nothing...." she reached up and whipped the lid off the plate. All of the others sheilded their faces, accept kanda who just leaned back a little. In the center of the plate was a cute fluffy chick.
"awww..." lenalee cooed. "its so cute!" The chick turned to her and peeped lightly, then grew sharp fangs as its eyes turned blood red.
"will... peep... eat...peep...soul!!!" it snarled, launching itself with stubby wings at the girl. The table flew into chaos, as allen and lavi tried to throw things at the small animal and kanda attempted to slice it with mugen, only succeding at turning their one salt shaker into two.
"get it!" lavi screamed, trying to hold it off with a menu. It hopped and jumped off the table. The whole group froze and pulled their feet up, trying to climb onto the seats.
"WHERE DID IT GO!?" alteara screamed, looking underneath the table.
"ALLO!" sven popped out.
"why! why god!!" lenalee screamed, shaking her fist at the sky.
"Can i be of ze 'elping vith somzing?"
"i swear his accent is getting thicker" kanda grunted, scanning the underside of the table.
"no, were good." luna sighed. she still sat in her seat normally, her chin resting on a hand proped up on the table. Sven dissapeared in a puff of smoke.
"i have GOT to stop teasing tim..." allen whined and he shifted higher up on his seat. "this is some kind of punishment..."
"luna...luna-chan...sweety..." lavi cooed huridly "do you think you could... i dunno.. ask sven to get rid of the... horrible meat eating poultry?"
"i can do better than that." luna grinned. She reached her hand under the table and they all heard a <gleep>. She pulled her hand up revealing the ravenous chick, her fingers wrapped around its throat. Her eyes gleemed evilly as she squeezed and -
"luna!" alteara cried
"whaaaaat?" luna moaned, relaxing her grip on the yellow but quickly turning blue chick.
"dont kill it."
"but it tried to eat your soul."
"she has a point there alte-chan..."
"no killing!"
"fine!" luna snapped. She stood from her seat, and dropped the chick.
"PUNT!" she screamed, kicking the chick and sending it flying into the distance. The others stared blankly.
"all i wanted was dinner and a movie..." lenalee sighed.
"what?" luna snapped. "you asked me to get rid of it."
"right." allen sighed. "well anyway, how did you get out of here last time?"
"hmmm..." luna put a hand at her chin. "how did i get out of here..."
The others deadpanned.
"ill have to think about it. In the meantime... heads up on the port side."
The others all turned to the other side of the booth where Alteara and Kanda were across from each other and next to a mid height wall. They all stared as a shark fin popped up. Kanda's eyes widened and he leaned way back, almost falling onto allen. Alteara grabbed a spoon from the table and brandished it at the fin. All of the others stared with wide eyes accept for luna who sighed and twiddled with her fork. It slowly moved across the length of the table, then vanished beneath the wall.
