"What are you talking about Haizen?! Xion's like a sister to me!" Haizen gave a smirk before finally walking up stairs, "Alright then, if that's how you put it..." Riku glared at him under tension as he opened the door to leave, "That Haizen...." As the door closed, haizen went up stairs into Xion's room to check on her, "Sound asleep, eh?" he whispered quietly. As he brushed her hair away from her face, he gave a faint smile. "I'm heading to the Seireitei to report investigation...Be back tomorrow..." As he slammed the door shut, he'd left a not on her dresser to inform her about the Seireitei. Meanwhile, Riku finally got to his apartment to see a sleeping Zanzura. "Whoa, he must be beat, it's already 11:56." He watched as Zanzura slept peaceful, while Riku quietly entered the room. After unpacking his things, Riku headed towards the living room where he landed in the couch. "Haizen...That fool..." after moaning the words a couple of times, Riku slowly closed his eyes and was drawn into complete darkness. Elsewhere, afar from Kurakara Town, three shady figures met in secret with the night still young. "Your target is a shinigami who goes by the name of Xion..." As one figure smiled, the other was given a picture to see his prey. "?!" In shock, he rose quickly from his seat. "Why take the life of an innocent?!" he yelled towards the other, "That's not within my poli-!" Before he got to finished, one figure threw a knife at him,this he easily dodged."Damn you Khani..."one the men snarled. Many more times this went on, then one of the other figures hurled a javelin but missed; however, the other was able to get a hit on him while he was distracted. "Keh..." Khani took a hold on the lance-like weapon and slowly pulled it from his left flank.He fell to his knees as blood poured from the wound. "Do what you are ordered to, you lowly scum..."Two of the men dropped the picture at the figure's knees and the both vanished into a portal formed from darkness. Khani staggered up as he looked down upon the sleeping town with on hand on the wound as he tightly grasped the picture in his left hand, ". . .Is Taking the life of an innocent the right thing to do. . .?"
